  1. ok, firstly thanks for all the great comments on my 12 hours labour i've had some pm's about the process involved so i thought i would do a quick 'how to' right this is a job if you start then there is NO going back, so take a deep breath before you start! equipment needed: mouse sander with 80 to 200 grit pads, wet and dry paper 200 to 1200 grit (2000 if you can get it) you will need alot of the finer grade paper, autosol metal polish. (a dremel with 80 grit sanding wheel is a great tool for getting to the awkward parts) 1. cover the engine ( i used a table cloth with a rectangle cut out of th
  2. mmmm the round bit that the wheel goes on, and also the spacer %-6

  10. a sealent will make the metalic pop in the paint more than a carnauba wax, but you won't get that 'wet look' with a sealant as much as a carnauba

  19. where abouts are you? i had mine done in my old vr and my mechanic was half the price of any other garage, think the bill was £250 ish, but yes dash out and budget for around 6 hours labour. but as its summer i would just get a garage to join the 2 pipes (unless you have jubilee clips on them and can do it yourself) everytime you fill up the coolant and go round a corner all your coolant will spill out.
  20. fk konigsports have the adjustable dampening, weitec do a good coilover set aswell.
