    no clutch is fine thought that aswell but tried various other ways of testing it and it's fine. that explains it then must be to about 45 or 50 then cos sometimes coming of round about in 2nd i get loads of grip but then as i reach a certain point after the second cam i tend to lose grip!!

    heard that some VR's if not all came with a primative form of traction control. have noticed my car seemed to grip amazingly well with a strong wiff of clutch this would explain the clutch being slipped by the TC. my car is an ODB2 car 96 on a P 3doors in silver. so any ideas???????

    well when i did mine the main pain was getting the centre console past the handbrake. made the wise move of taking a few photos before i took it out just incase!! is quality now but bit noisier but can feel exactly when it's in gear now for the 1/4 mile!!!!!

    by the sounds of it a phase 2 engine with an induction kit and exhaust should make 200. lets hope with a 6-2-1 ported manifold and a high flow cat that i make a bit more than that all i have to do is fit them now!! lol

    no need in dropping the whole linkage down all i did was use a bit of brute force and bent down the lip around the whole thing and mine works fine!!

    no nothing split new aswell and mine have a vent in the back aswell. may see if i can find some chemical at work that can absorb water as it looks frikin stupid!!

    every time i wash my car the indicators steam up and it seriously annoys me any reccomendations on how to stop this happening?? considered filling in all the gaps but id imagine they are their for a reason so didn't!

    must admit my car shakes aswell when at stand still. just presumed it was the big V6 up front moving slightly on it's mountings!!

    i recon u deserve everything u get that way u will hopefully learn it dangerous. came across a crash scene a few years ago first on the scene young guy and his girlfriend had lost control and crashed hit a tree and most of his head was splattered all over his girlfriend and she was lying their screaming. things like that stick with u just imagine that was me!!!!!!!!!

    well the rims are 7" wide and my suspension is set as hard as possible cos i enjoy a sore back!! only problem is the 15's rub at the moment on those stupid plastic bits at the front of my arch but thats cos i took it out and lost half the screws so not put it in properly. now anybody reccomend the cheapest set of good possible!!

    been offered a cheap set of 17" tsw evo r's wondering if their the correct offset?? also my car is lowered 30mm on koni shocks and eibach springs so what else will i need to do to fit them?? is it worth rolling my arches and if so how much would it cost?? could do with knowing asap as the i can order the bits up!

    had my reading 1 saying that the car was driven for a very short distance and then left to idle for about an hour. seriously though don't think iv seem much lower than about 18!!

    sometimes my ignition kind of sticks in the starting position and the other day even when i turned off the ignition cos the starter hadn't stopped it kept going had to turn the ignition like i was wanting it to start to get the motor to stop!! also my steering wheel now rubs on the plastic surround and ideas why??

    well sounds familiar does steer to one side!!! will have a look now.

    no not clutch related happens when im slowing down coming off the throttle but not necessarily every time i release the clutch.

    happens when i let the clutch ou and when turning at low speeds?? is it engine mountings or struts. car is a 97p and has done 80k any ideas as the car is perfect apart from this clunk!!
