    i own a 97 vr ODB2 running a ram air full system and a high flow cat on fri the car made 193.5 hp and 183 lb/ft torque. i also have a BMC which i feel is better for power but far to quiet so i run about with the ram air just for the noise. matth76 i also have a manifold but not fitted yet do u feel it made a huge difference???? did u heat wrap yours???

    mine had holes staight through the standard front one. vibratech is better but creaks a bit is that normal??

    well vr was poor 193.5bhp and 183.1 lb/ft torque bit of work to be done to reach my goal of 210bhp and 200 lb/ft torque

    i bouht mine ages ago before anybody had realy had one on a vr that was 6 months ago and still not fitted it. mine is getting rr on fri so il know the bhp before the manifold and then il fit it and check the gains!!

    was asked recently on a local cruise site if i would allow the recording of the noise of my car for a computer game deal is car is used for 1 hour doing various things such as through the gears at constant revs etc they then check the bhp for me pay me the petrol to get their and back and on the rollers and also pay me

    mine is lowered 40mm on koni shocks ans eibach springs. it is just the right height that it does not catch speed bumps although i have to watch for high kerbs.

    mine has ahigh flow cat and pops and spits small flames but only if i floor it up to 6k revs and lets straight off which is seriously harsh on the car. had a guy flash and stop me as he thought my car was on fire. all going to change now cos i got an asbo for excessive noise so standard or seriously quiet performance exhaust going on soon!!

    lol i got an "anti social behaviour order" last month due to the fact the police don't appreciate the ram air or my exhaust. if i get caught again in the next year they take the car and i have to pay

    depends if the boot is burst if it is the cv joint which u can hear knocking will get badly worn and need replacing. just depends on how many miles u do but id avoid and harsh driving. oh and paypal tran done mate

    28v6r i do indeed stay up in scotland near dundee. u know of anywhere that might be handier for me as prestwick is about 2 hours away!! sounds like the kind of people im after. u know with all this talk i may get them to build a whole new exhaust. recon they would fit my 6-2-1 manifold aswell as nobody local will do it for a decent price??? ant the lipstick ain't mine the dummy is though lol oh and the question made sense steve it just depends how u inturprate it!!!!

    well cant do the photo cos in the middle of the north sea at the minute. will take one when i get home. the custom exhaust was on the car when i bought it not sure who built it. would any custom exhaust builder be able to change the silencer for a more efficiant one?? oh and sorry steve meant to call u a dik head or kok sucker was half asleep was not meant to be kok head lol

    mine are identical to the recaros but just don't have recaro written on them!! can anybody do bolster repair in scotland as i give myself a dead leg getting in now far to often

    kok head nae need in that!!! meant it has the cat the the big silencer that runs across the car this then goes to the back box. presuming i should replace the biggest first silencer as no room to add another!!!!

    where would i put the silencer though?? buying an exhaust is a bit expesive rather have a cheap fix

    running a ram air pro ram and i know it's noisy but it can be conrolled by just not planting my foot. the exhaust has a habit of droaning especially when cruising. what i want is for it to make a bit of noise when i plant my foot but not droan all the time. so???
