  1. You could try strictly dubs www.strictlydubs.com I think it is - they seem to have lots of parts available. Tried posting on ED38?
  2. Cant you just connect them to the door switch? It cant be that hard!
  3. After driving my sisters 1.6 Fiesta Ghia for 2 weeks I dont need anyone to remind me why I should be keeping mine! Keep it mate - it must be that seasonal disorder thing that people get when the clocks go back!
  4. Looks wicked! I like the stance of it - sits just right
  5. You need to speak to Ultimate Tune on here - you can send them a PM but they'll probably pick up on this post later on and give you all the advice you need
  6. Cheers everyone - the vents did have a lip on them and didnt sit completely flush so what they done is went around the edges and filed the edges/lips down and then fibre glassed them in to the bumper, smoothed it all down, fillered any imperfections and sprayed it all up.
  7. How cool are these! I wonder how long til we see some on the V Dub scene Im not sure what the faces are made of but I think they would look good on the right car
  8. Could be the leads - had the same problem on my Vr, fine when cold but as soon as the engine was hot it'd start juddering all over the place! Changed the leads and it was fine
  9. Just had the bumpers smooted and the Bonrath vents blended in to the bumpers etc - my Votex splitter was smashed to pieces but is like new again now! Next mods are gonna be to lower it a bit more, polished rear cage, engine mods & respray http://photos.yafro.com/pics3/i/20051106/05/b/7/f/b7f2bdeca96c27e656524a2fcfcd86a8200511060_full.jpg http://photos.yafro.com/pics3/i/20051106/05/3/7/c/37ce83942a5740faf7883b7a9faa5aeb200511060_full.jpg http://photos.yafro.com/pics3/i/20051106/05/1/7/c/17ce1c914188b205db3b84228d2072af200511060_full.jpg http://photos.yafro.com/pics3/i/20051106/05/1/c/e/1ce6

  12. The kit from VAGparts.com is cheaper than this before members discount and it fits better apparently
  13. Im on the list for coming but my car wont be going on the rollers as it will involve taking the front bumper off so I'll just be watching :0)

    Gear Gaitor

Was after a nice aftermarket one as my car came with some horrible plastic type rubbish but suppose a standard one would be better than that !lol Cheers

    Gear Gaitor

Im after a new leather gear gaitor - anyone know where the best place to get one would be or have any pics of any good makes? I've heard snappy gaitors are good but cant find any details for them.
  17. ha ha nah I cant wait to get it back - probably gonna have the sides done aswell after xmas. Gonna lower it a bit more when it comes back too as it was the highest car at the Ragley Hall meet!
  18. Im sure theres a blue Mk4 that posts on ED38 and hes got them in his sig pic all polished up - cant remember his name though!
  19. Its underneath the scuttle panel (under the front wipers) - I've been told that its a bit of a pain to take out so maybe not worth the hassle unless your really gonna go for it
  20. I think from what I've heard that these are a bit of a pain in the backside - if you've got water leaking inside it could be that the drainage holes around the sunroof are blocked so if you just blow these out with an airline this'll clear any rubbish that might be blocking them so instead of the water sitting around your sunroof & seeping in it should run out of the drainage holes.
  21. Great minds and all that eh Warren! ha ha I've chosen to take the bolts out as I want the bumper completely smoothed and the intakes bleded in without having to see the bolts - theres enough fixings to hold it in place firmly anyway. The intakes are held in nice and tight by 1 screw and the fibreglass - when I fitted them they went on like a glove, good snug fit!
  22. I've taken a few pics of the work being done tonight - I asked them not to paint anything until I had been down to see it but its all looking cool - just want to get the holes filled in on the air intakes etc 8) Pics here on ED38 http://www.edition38.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=20560
