    VF ENGINEERING make them. $150 US for the two motor mounts - each, and as low as $75 US for the gearbox mount, All up about 300 quid.

    It's a fibrous green goo that you can get at any lawnmower shop, its not bullet proof! The Hummers have the added benefit of a compressor that can inflate each tyre as you drive.

    I was pootling along a couple of days ago, and noticed a vibration through the wheel. Being mechanically sympathetic and quite keen on how the car looks right now, I pulled over. Looking around the front wheels I noticed the centre cap on the wheels was being pushed out by one of the wheel bolts! :? Needless to say I checked both fronts there and then, and they are now as tight as. I have 5mm hub centric spacers (temporary) but normal length bolts (because the spacer is temporary). Check your bolts now! Don't become a three wheeler!

    There is a huge thread on vw vortex usa about this, and the guy experiementing with enlarging throttle bodies had mixed success, but eventually came up with a winning formula.

    I'm after some too, but you should be prepared for a marginal increase in nvh - noise, vibration and harshness.

    We have 100 octane now in Sydney. It has ethanol in it. Ethanol on its own has a far lower calorific value than petrol and petrol additives so expect to see worse mpg. Also does nothing unless you chip the car for 99 octane. Out of the box its tuned to 95. I use 95 now, not 98 optimax. Today I paid $1.12/litre for 95 octane. So that will be 45p then!

    The Mk4 looks fantastic on the glitzy A8 rims, but 18's on a Mk 3? Don't make it a trailer queen........I have once, I think, see the A8 rims as 17's, but I think they were audi 5x112 fitment

    It did appear on Barryboys soon after.... And was duly shredded. What was better that some dude then started actually lashing into the VR6 engine for being shite, not that particular car. Genius!

    And by the way, what colour carpet am I after. Cuffs and collars should match after all. Are all Golf boot carpets the same? (They were in Stags, regardless of interior or exterior colour! What is the closest AA match?
