  1. ive given it to some people as attachments/links if you want a copy, pm me.
  2. Guys, my boost gauge is only registering vacuum, its attached to the big pipe that goes to the brake servo. Would it be affected becuase the boost return valve also uses pressure from the pipe work? or is it becuase i should attach it to the fuel pressure regulator.
  3. hmm, thats pretty cool, did you do it for the woosh sound or is there another reason? my v1 makes such a racket i wouldnt be able to hear the woosh.
  4. yeah ive seen a standard vr at stealth do 187.
  5. okay, cheers sanky, i will go check it out .
  6. from the title of your thread, C2 DO NOT make superchargers, they put the kit together, VF DO NOT make superchargers they put kits together. both kit manufacturers use the same VORTECH chargers (both kit manufacturers use the same charger manufacturer)... so you see, a c2 supercharger and vf supercharger are the same...whats different is the other bits they give, like mounts, piping, eeproms and so on.
  7. redberu are good, magnacore also good. can develop problems in the wet, or can fail quickly due to heat...
  8. 2k NEW from ultimatetune, or less secondhand from the USA, if your looking for second hand look into the zr2 z-engineering kits.
  9. thank kev. i cant wait to get my cat replacement in.
  10. yep if you get in there quick, you can make a saving and get 10psi for the price of 8 .
  11. im gonna see how my water injection goes, i think ultiamtetune is sending me a new ECU with eeprom to use, that should help alot.
  12. yep i was unable to get thru to dragon performance, so i ordered a cooling mist kit. i've also ordered a water pressure (0-120psi) guage to mount somewhere, which should give me a sweet reading when the injection kit starts up. i've checked out the erl pump, it is very good.
  13. If your planning on buying secondhand, you can't go wrong with a zr2, many people here have them and say that are very good. I have a v1 vortech charger with a c2 kit, its also very good. The vf is a bigger kit manufacturer than c2, c2 is coming along nicely though with competative priceses. reliablility :- i would have THOUGHT* (correct me if im wrong) that a dry charger with ceramic bearings would need more maintenance than a vortech one, the zr2 has its own oil reservoir, which probably needs changing (as perdoidically as you change your oil for your engine), i would have thought this amou
  14. that is one of the most beautiful cars ive ever seen. Lovely.
  15. ultimatetune is sorting it for me, so i'm guessing it'll be good. come on rob, when will i see this pipe work . binliner :- mines not 400 quid lol, its slightly less, probably wont make as much power, but maybe it will open up the top end a bit more, what you think?
  16. matrix m8, you constantly lose in your vr6, have you considered getting a charger (or losing some weight from your vr ). i'd like to see those pieces of crap keep up with any lightly modded vr, i'd pay money to see one beat me from 40-120 in my vr.
  17. rob, i hate joo, you know i want that car...give me, i'll trade you my vr, for your skyline, it was so comfortable, on the way home i fell asleep in it too! -- right justin, thats the kind of factual metric i was looking for, i have one on order, but was wondering if it was worth it, becuase of the MOT issues. i dont mind paying 10 quid more for my MOT hehehe. who knows, i might be like eat this and get thru without any problems (still gotta wait until next year for mot tho!)
  18. i would NEVER put any brillo pad near my car (again) i used it once to remove some wax deposits ont he lower sill, and it totallys scratched the paintwork, costing me 90 quid in repairs to paint it over.
  19. on the z-engineering kit, is the maf not before the supercharger? the dump valve usually goes after the charger but before the throttle body, so one would be 'dumping' metered air...or am i mistaken.
  20. does anyone here have a cat bypass? it might not fail the mot , you never know hehe.
  21. ive tried contacting the buyer (since saturday) and also tried phoning them, their telephone doesnt allow incoming phone calls...so im a bit weary of buying it off them, (first one) only has 5 feedback too (and this kit was 150 in the gb).
