  2. Ah, but my offer was made in person and therefore is a lot more legally binding than your words!
  3. I've offered Warren the deal of a life time, but i need to get you guys to convince him! I've offered him an excellent deal on his nasty RH's as a part ex against my wonderful BBS Solitudes.......he's not sure he can stretch to such a great level, but with your help, we can convince him...... !amazed
  4. I just got such a strange look off my boss and the purchasing manager when i started chuckling to myself then!! Very good!
  5. Well, 85% of the car is done! What can i say.....FANTASTIC STUFF!!! Got rid of all the tar spots from the door bottoms, and the general crap from everywhere else. Lovely and smooth now! Definately good shiiiiiit!
  6. They're individual franchises so some are better than others. If you read posts on here, VR6Rich has had trouble with work from a guy in the Bristol area, but a guy local to me has an excellent reputation. Still haven't used him myself, but probably will be soon.
  7. I hope it is! I'm starting mine tonight with any luck.........god knows when i'll finish it, but i'll probably take all weekend in the end!!
  8. i was thinking around the 3 quid mark.......
  9. Aren't all VW electric mirrors heated?? Another thought, that banner at the top for performance brakes leads to a site for car mirrors. Think they've got some on there too.
  10. mine was £12.99 delivered from www.speeding.co.uk cos i was too lazxy to drive to the other side of Worcester to get to the nearest Halfords!
  11. Damn you, i was hoping to be the only one for Design 1, then i could get the pre-production sample off Pete..... lol
  12. Excellent news! Can't wait to see what difference it makes. Hopefully be ripping the feckin mudflaps off too, at last.....they've caught on enough speedbumps for this winter!
  13. Took delivery of my Mequiars Quik Clay and Tech Wax last night ready for a busy weekend cleaning.......am i safe/is there any point in using the clay bar on the windows/windscreen??? Not looked on the box anywhere to see if its recommended, just came into my head! Moderator edit by: PeterVR6 Moderator edit by: PeterVR6
  14. Just to be awkward...i prefer design 1. It rocks IMO! Love it!
  15. the reset button is just under the cd slot on the actual unit IIRC.....
  16. Hi Kev, one of my favourite Corrado colours that.....along with the Aqua Blue Pearl that i had before the Highline. Fantastic cars, and seeing those pics makes me want another.....in reality, selling that and buying the Highline was one of the best things i did!
  17. JL kit scores highly on my list too. Not got one as yet (still running a 12" Kenwood sub), but in my experience, a 10" JL can easily match anyone elses 12". A must buy IMO.
  18. Did you have anyone trying to lift the bonnet from the outside while you pulled the lever?? I had a similar problem occasionally with the corrado, but if someone tried to pull it up, it worked fine.
  19. Shame i missed yet another show......Inters in a couple of weeks though so will catch up with most of you there i'm sure!
  20. Mine arrived Friday, Top work! Will be nice to have a first edition "small logo" one too!
  21. My policy is just about to run out with Elephant, and my renewal price has come in at a higher figure than last years. That was on the Corrado too! I haven't declared any mods with them either cos i was too lazy to sort it, but my recent quotes have included everything. Brentacre camw styraight in with a brilliant price, but a broker in Somerset (a friend of a friend) has knocked another 100 quid off their price! £450 f.c so far!
  22. Subject says it all. Wheres the cheapest source you've found for Meguiars products. First port of call is the clay bar kit.
  23. i was gonna go with silver on mine when i got round to it. Nice and subtle IMO
