  6. i think they'd suit a corrado personally!
  7. can't wait to see them on the car Ian, the look brilliant!
  8. I had a couple of these when i was selling my MK2. Had some geezer offer me a cheque for about 10k for a 2k car!! The first one i ignored, but the second one i replied to with "I'd rather eat my own leg than take your dodgy money!". I never had a reply!
  9. Did seem like the rollers were reading slightly high yesterday. I've heard that Stealths rollers are normally accurate, and managed 112.7 from my stock 8V MK2 last year and 186 from my rado with a knackered MAF meter last last year, so it does seem that they are normally spot on, but for a standard OBD1 MK3 VR to have 190bhp+ seems a little high. Just my opinion, but like Ian says, at least you have a comparison against each others. Still a good day!
  10. nooooooooooooo..... i missed yours running at the clubgti worcs day last year as i had to disappear early so i was looking forward to seeing it go this time.
  11. i had them on the MK2, started to corrode a bit in the end but still, for the money......... I couldn't get the bonnet to sit right on that though!
  12. might look at booking mine in at Stealth on Sunday. He's about all i can trust with the VR i think!
  13. Well, it's a gel battery rather than just a leisure battery, as they tend to be for caravans and the like. Unfortunately a gel battery is gonna cost you somewhere in the region of about £200-£300. Then you've gotta suss out all your split charging circuit. I'd just bung a cap in for the sake of 100 odd quid!
  14. So then people, 3 days to go. You all getting ready now? I'll be rolling up to have a nose, but probably won't get there till 10.30 ish.
  15. i think that's gonna be your only cure. The amp is drawing that much from your battery it's having to starve other things of the power they need. The cap will store enough charge to help get that kick without drawing everything from the battery at once. I used to have this problem and in the end i changed the amp. Now using a PG QX220 (i think) and i have no troubles at all!
  16. image has to be hosted online somewhere, the you go to your settings and in the signtaure box type: http://www.yaddayaddayadda.com (or whatever the url is for your pic)[/img ] but do it without the space before the last square bracket.
  17. yes mate. more pics can be seen in the link that Ian (1990) posted in my "Newbie" thread in the general section.
  18. Corrado owner here too, so don't let it worry you. Although, i only joined yesterday too!!
