    you can pick them up from a VAG dealer (the plastic ones) but you can buy the alloy version which is far better.

    no more blow outs i suppose, must be easy to build up a tyre wall, i dont think it would hinder the performance of it.

    Good luck in finding parts for it mate, I've heard even NS Racing wont touch them now!

    also the timing belts etc? the VR6 is chain driven, if they are planning on doing the chains, then it's a gearbox off job. an ideal time to replace them if your approaching the 100k mark.... Pete
