  2. Caught my knuckle the other week sorting my brakes on the guard, peeled it off like a cheese grater lol! I once got my head slammed in a mk3 golf door at edition 38 once as I bent over pick up my torch lol. Luckily I was so drunk it didn't hurt. I blame the headache the next morning on the hang over

  4. Wowsers, that's pretty bad, and not something you can easily clean up without risking it dropping into your fuel tank, unless you can devise a method of sealing the neck ? Probably just going to be easier to replace and, as said its bonded to the tank, not a bad job to drop the tank, you'll might want to consider a new fuel filter and inspecting your fuel tank straps as they generally rotten after so long.... Yes buddy, will do, have you scanned for faults? It is indeed a good trick can't wait get mine working again!
  5. A natural progression really Especially given mk3's are starting to cost to keep in good condition. Not sure if there's anything specific to keep your eye out for when looking, I'm sure Craig will have some insightful information Be good see more R32's in the club too

    Vr6 Problem

Sometimes with these auto boxes a fresh filter and oil change can do the world of good. Have you had it on vag-com at all? Might shed some light on the situation? It's a minefield with auto-boxes, many give up at the 60-70k mark

  11. Hey mate, I have the same problem with spoiler, I tried replacing the spoiler module that sits behind the dash by the switch but it still isn't playing ball... I do have another engine speed sensor fault stored in the ECU which may or may not be related, but taking it stealth on the 21st so it can be fixed as I'm out of ideas. I'll probably have a spare speed controller module if you wanted to test after then? Ill feedback what the fix was for me when I go down Stealth. As for your tank filler rust, got a photo? It's very strange, did you not fully screw the cap on? Or had moisture in your t

  20. (sorry assuming you are OBD2 here) If you have had disconnected the battery, and didn't allow the throttle to perform it's own adaptation when you put ignition on axillary) then that might not help you can do it on VAG-COM, only takes a minute, so worth a shot, presume you have re-seated your HT leads etc... when were your plugs last changed?
  21. Left side goes to evap, and right side goes into inlet manifold if I remember correctly... Do you have a PCV valve or has it been bypassed / removed?
