  2. Right, so im going to start a mini ongoing progress thread for my newly aquired (2 days) mulberry highline vr6. Specs are 2.8 vr6 2 owners 2 keys!!! all electrics work perfectly 1 speck of rust bubbling on the tailgate and not a stitch anywhere else 95,000 miles with a full service history Boring bits over heres a bit of photo viewing for the engine bay work ive been doing this afternoon....... after my cleaning effort and my new wheels, all centre capped up and cleaned/protected added some clear repeaters to replace the skanky old ones Thats it for now, 3

Remembered to take a few more pics of the progress today and also remembered when putting the skirts on that it had these protective strips along the top of the side skirt into the door shut; It was bugging me so tried TPS but they're obselete... Well it was worth a try! So straight on eBay and found this stuff anti slip waterproof tape for boats, skin friendly apparently! Worth a try so ordered some it was only cheap,cut a bit to size warmed it up as it's quite thick stuck it on and I think it looks ok; Aerial was looking a bit sorry for itself; So a new seal and a bit of matt black aerosol

  7. Excesive pressure in the coolant system and slight misfire could be pointing towards the headgasket on its way out mate. Check to see if your loosing any coolant or that VR6 Loonibuggy Santa Pod 2014 !
