acf8181 0
well, what do you think (bit of a stupid question as i know i'm about to be rediculed)? so far i'm absolutely loving it....seriously good steering response, and sh*t loads of grip (so much that i haven't found the limit yet...but i am wisely taking it easy).http://img.photobucket.com/albums/http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50.jpg

VR6Pete 1,455
can those piccies be any bigger?
andy 0
Very nice example by the looks. Mid engine rear wheel drive has to be an improvement on the Golf, from a driving viewpoint. Whats with the white Mk2 in your sig, is that a runaround? I hope your prepared for Toyota prices if things go wrong. My mate had a Celica GT4 and the parts were absolutely astronomical, made VW look real cheap!! Hope you have more joy you did with the Golf!
Pete.sVR6 0
Looks very tidy for a K plate mate. well done.

Col_M 0
Not too bad to be honest looks to be in good condition and if you're happy with it that's all that matters.
purple highline monster 0
You will be able to go on "the salon" and make a few quid on shampoo adverts, 8) just watch out for sticking rear brake calipers! its not just dubs that suffer from it!
acf8181 0
its ok, i didn't expect many good comments...i'm happy and thats all that matters, only reason i posted on here is that some of you guys know me quite well and i thought you'd be interested.i wasn't keen on the colour at first but its growing on me actually....its a bit bluer in real life.andy - yes, from a driving point of view it is serious fun. bit slower than a vr6 in a straight line mind. things that have impressed me so far is the responsiveness of the steering, the susp is the perfect compromise between comfort and handling, and the road holding is pretty decent as well considering its running kuhmo's at mo. things that i dislike? the sound (compared to a vr6 any 4 cyl sounds like a frickin diesel! lol)pete - sorry about the pic sizes, but as you know i ain't a computer wiz and can't reduce them without loosing the quality.eat this - thats about where the red line is yes. its very un 16v like for a 16v, if you get what i mean, there isn't really a 'step' at about 4k.
