So today I managed to get stuck in with fitting the rest of the interior, Front door cards all fitted with new door card clips, Next up was to remove the existing dashboard To make way for this,

As some members already are aware I had a very special interior lined up which I collected on Friday. I took the long drive up to Dunfermline to pick this cargo up which ended up in a 1200 mile round

Just to keep this alive, not many updates to speak of other than it's running superb, Attended ultimate dubs back in March and took the trip over to Dubshed in April, here's a few pics from the past

So today i had a go over the car with a machine polisher, 6 hours in total was quite hard work but im quite happy with the results i got,

Well its been quite a while since i have updated this mainly due to being made redundant soon so the plans for the car went on hold and its future with me was hanging in the balance,

Decided to carry on regardless with my plans in time for Bristol volksfest and got the wheels polished, balanced and tired up, ready to go on and fit the samco kit from the Group buy along with a bonrath air intake to complement the other polished bits in the engine bay,

Quite happy with how its looking at the moment :)

That looks bloody sexy! (H)

Does the Bonrath air intake differentiate betweek OBD1 and OBD2?

Loving the side rear shot' date=' looks lush!

[/quote']

Thanks for the comment mate,

I think the bonrath fits both obd1 and obd2 the only difference is the fitting of the hoses and believe the obd2 you have to blank a pipe off instead, might be worth asking in the tech section as im not 100%

Well last week i had fitted a pair of new lower arms, Bushes, Ball joints, Drop links, Car handles so much better now,

Removed the polished expansion bottle and replaced with a new oe bottle,

Removed my show cage so i could fit my black abc pillars, Retrimmed the headlining in black cloth and painted the grab handles, sunroof/interior light controls and sunvisors in satin black, Was quite impressed with the finish and the whole interior feels a much nicer place to be in, Will post up some pics of this later,

Just a quick pic of the front end with the painted debadged grill and pressed plates

Wheels now fitted, Took it to check the alignment today and had it adjusted,

Now drives awesome and love the stance it has, The 9's on the rear fit perfect with no scrubbage running the 215/35's falkens, The grip in wet conditions is very good. Will post some pics over the weekend with the new setup,

:)

Loving the wheels' date=' one of my favorites

Cheeky Schrick as well, whats the plans with this ?

Cheers Gary, Always wanted a set it was just the cost and that they rarely become available but here we are, really happy with the setup of the adaptors and tyre stretch i think its just about right apart from needing it a bit lower all around if not quite a bit lower on the front,

What size adaptors are they mate and how do you think it drives with them? I had porsche d90's on my old one 8s front 9s rear with 25mm adaptors all round (see my pic) and it drove pretty bad compared to straight fitting wheels.

Im running 30mm adaptors on the front and 35mm adaptors on the rear with an added 3mm shim, I cant fault the handling at all it drives superb, The silver roses are quite a bit lighter than d90's anyway which may help but combined with new falken ze912 tyres, new wishbones, bushes and set up the alignment it has totally tranformed the way it handles :)
