Some Turbo parts came last week. PICS..

Recommended Posts

Well, I was in Bangkok when DHL called med up and told me they had 2 huge packages for me back home in Oslo. So when I got back, my turbo kit has finnaly come.

Its basiclly a Kinetic/C2 stage 3 Turbo kit. Some upgrades have been done to it.

C2/US ECU with custom work from Jefnes.. HOPE IT WILL WORK!

He told me to but on the Bosch 440's, 95mm MAF and try the ECU. Should run fine on idle.

Its a much better turbo that I have upgraded to, for just some extra money.

Im gonna have a C2 8:5-1 headspacer.

Here is the Turbo: Garrett T04 60/1.. AR 70 / 63

Are you brakes okay with the sand in them?

rest looks great

I had only one choice, and that was to but sand in there, because the fire was pretty big. But no damage was done, and I had a couple off rounds on the track just to cool it all down.

Ok, so I got all the parts that I need now. So when finishing work, it was straight down to the garage to check if the new C2 Ecu was working on my Euro car. OBD2.

First we changed the injectors, and was gonna put on the 95mm maf:

Then the problem came... Look at the red signs. Plastic pins. "This is the C2 ECU:

And look at the red signs here. No plastic pins "My OEM Euro ECU"

The plastic pins prevent it from sliding in,

Apart from this, all the pins and everything look exacly the same.

Dremel was the first thing in my mind. But..

No answer from C2 yet... Its been like this since thursday:::::::::::(

Ok, some updates...

The fitting with my Garrett T04S 60/1 Turbo is very tight. So something needs to be done here.

vwMinVR6Turbomontering18-6-07002.jpg

Intercooler mounting:

vwMinVR6Turbomontering18-6-07001.jpg

And the very first start up, with a USA ECU from C2 Motorsports: "Yes it looks like im 16 year all over again:)" I was 16 in 1994:)

Clip 2:

I managed to connect the vacum hoses wrong, so on the forst test drive I had TO much boost. I mean NO traction with a Peloquin i 3rd gear on dry asfalt. Got to 4rd gear, and it was still NO traction at the beggining. Now its some work left to be done. And the car are gonna have 15 psi.
