gav_113 0
i was driving to my mates last nite and hit a rather big pot hole, and yep ive buckled my 17'' alloy wheel. drove my car this morning and the tyre was flat! pumped it up and it goes back down after a while. bloke in garage said i need a new alloy. (no shit i said!). thing is what do i do? my wheels have been painted a different colour, so it wouldnt be the same anyway. do i get a new set of rims and put my tyres on them? by the way i have 215 40 r17's at the moment, would i be better of with 205 40 r17's instead?pls can i have some help, unsure what to do.. Citizens Advice B should be able to advise you better. You should be able to get some compensation due to the damage caused. I've known many people with lowered cars get damaged on speed bumps that were above the legal 10cms max height limit and got compensation for the damaged caused. Definitely worth doing.
