    Had a wash, need a good rub down and polish Got this to use as a jig of a sort to get a 24v manifold made, hopefully I get it right as its a right fek about changing them over with the 24v as front end got to come off to get the inlet off It's a supersprint copy but I think that the wall sections are a bit thin too the collectors are nasty This is something I need to get

    Thank you one I've got is same size Seems like a bit on the big side I think Will have to get the calculator pen and paper out now First rough calculations we need for them tuned to 5500rpm Your Primary Tube Length is 38.85 Your Primary Tube Diameter is 1.26 inches Your Collector Diameter is 2.48 inches Two Collectors Online calculator but need to get exact cam profile specs This is going to be fun I think I had some software somewhere need to see if I can dig that out

    Hello I've picked up a 6branch for a vr6 but the diameter of the whole thing seems bit big Anyone got one off the car that can measure the tube sizes pls? I will once I find my vernier

    Cheers Will see or do something similar to the mk3 tdi for intercooler location Or a side mount intercooler of a mk1 TT Need to keep it all out of sight

    How have people gone about fitting intercoolers and keep them hidden? Also besides the eBay specials what other options is there for aluminium radiators? Ideally if I can get a deeper radiator that's not as wide so an intercooler can fit next to it instead of being in front would be perfect I'd rather not go down the custom made route Zak

    Nearly a grand for a new one by Garrett? Or couple hundred quid for an eBay special Second hand below £400 is good I sold my gt25/28 hybrid unused ball bearing turbo for £450 for reference same turbo new from AET turbo was £900

    Yeah you need to change the rear pipes and there available from eBay £35 ish But the problem I had was that the normal size for the banjo bolt is m10 but the calipers I got off a mk4 had the m12 fitting So get the calipers first to see the size of the banjo bolts

    If I was you I'd look at the price difference in some cams to a 24v conversion and the gain in torque difference between them

    Stealth racing will sort something out there doing the mapping for me Only problem with the rotrex kit I'm working on is you will lose AC Ruf do a kit have a nosey at there's?

    Yup that's what it's all about efficiency! I still need to do a little more home work on the standard injectors spray pattern and asnu to replicate/ improve it Which they can I will have a word with someone who deals with them as iirc his getting some as the q16 race fuel melted his other ones lol

    Cool but stealth have told me that some injectors don't work too well with the 2.8 24v something to do with the tips and spray pattern as the rail going across the inlet ports affect it ???? I'm only starting with low boost from the rotrex until the chassis suspension gearbox is done
