So this is how the car is now , engine is in , gearbox in
Passenger drive shaft all bolted in , have fitted eibach front and rear anti roll bars , the car has powerflex bushes all round with fk coilovers on it.
 
Everything has been replaced , new hubs . Bearings , track rods and ends , ball joints , wishbones etc etc
Also bought these hefty bastards to help me stop! 334x32 discs with 17Z 6 pot calipers to go with them!

Bit of an update, here’s the car currently

Right, been busy recently as I have finally gotten a job and time for an update on the build, I have just bought Ky's 3.0 Litre block with forged pistons , turbo manifold and ht leads, Ive ordered a short runner intake, exhaust valves, 630 cc injectors, mocal oil cooler, and just bought UM pro maf and tial wastegate off black dubs.... Now what rods to get, anyone got any ideas on good forged rods to buy to fit the 3.0 litre block?
And here is the block and pistons that will be on its way monday
Edit: ZRP con rods bought now just waiting for it all to turn up and get on with it

Pedal from a mk4 dbw all fitted today after making a bracket

And got the new bias and lines plumbed in

Soooooo this is the car at the moment ahahha 
 
now installing emu standalone and have it running roughly but running
 
bmw dbw now installed more options on stamdalone this way 
 
ripped out tons of wiring and have run complete new harnesses inside and out lol
 
new brake lines and abs removed became unsafe ?
 
Soon be building 3" exhaust probably this weekend

Little update on how the engine is coming along , pretty much finished , have to get my 02m gearbox to a local gearbox builder to have a look and see what it's like and then change to steel shifting forks and recon the box

Getting a little bit further with the build , got my head back from the machine shop with 1.8mm bigger inconel exhaust valves and supertech intake valves with new guides , stem seals , HD Valve springs and titanium retainers, also got the head skimmed , hot tanked and pressure tested.
Put the mk4 MLS headgasket with the ARP head studs on and the SRI on

Right so finally got my engine back so now for some building , seeing as all the bolts and bits for the engine are in bags and half of them aren't labelled this is going to be fun lol
Got a few bits on like the oil filter housing , rear mount , crank sensor and started with the oil cooler but need to buy the UM external oil cooler pipe to in both OEM oil cooler and my Mocal external oil cooler

I will have a look around but will probably lean to the gt35, what bhp are you running with stock internals?

Turbo mounted

Positioned the charge cooler so I can start mocking up the pipework.

Hi guys, soon I will be starting my turbo build and I would like to hear any comments on what parts you guys suggest from experience, Its going to be a 3k+ build because It will be a year + project, Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, First thing I have to do is source an engine and freshen it up with new piston rings valve stem seals etc etc and give it a good ol' rebuild and do as much of the turbo work I can out of the engine because i am currently still using my car so cant be building on my daily! 

As soon as Ive gotten an engine I will be posting whenever I can over a long period showing you my progress! Any advice on turbos, manifolds, injectors etc etc would be great!!

Schimmel 263 cams , timing chain kit and full performance bearing set came yesterday and only thing left to get is my arp main studs on their way and can get the block put together then put the head together will post updates soon when it's all built

to up-rate the shift forks, strengthen the input shaft add the shaft support, change some bearings but not including any synchros or gear replacements
£750 inc labour, which i didnt think was bad.
also getting a price from Mart (HotGolf) who is a legend, i will post that when it comes in as well.

Fuck loots like alot of work but I do want a 02M... The gearbox is the only situation that I am not sure what im going to do, RBPE has given me many ways I could go with treating the gears for the 02A etc etc so theres lots to choose and think about
