There's a place local to me doing this hydro dipping stuff, CLB car care they're called. I keeping looking for something to dip. I just waiting for them to install a tank big enough to dip the whole land rover into.

I had my speedo surround, door handles and a couple of blanking switches dipped in carbon. Just though I would show you a couple of pics.
The main reason was I ordered one of those carbon stick on speedo surrounds and it just did not for right with the chrome rings.

Upper air intake vents, that's the one, thought I was half way there lol. Vw parts don't have any in at the mo, oemandmore said they was trying to get some in a few months ago but not sure weather they did or not

Vw Parts International sell them Ash. They offer a discount on here mate for members. I bought mine off ebay from an American seller. Cost me about £30.00. My misses was going to America so I got her to bring them back for me. Haha

I've done all my switches.
You can make it abit simpler,
You do not need the resistor if you buy 12v stable 3mm LEDs.
All the resistor does is drop the voltage, so you can use either 3v or 5v LEDs.
Buy 12v LEDs there abit harder to find, but they are for sale. And the resistor is not needed at all.
Then it is just a direct swap for the original leds then.

Yeah I think the blue and white would look nice. White as the main colour and blue when the switch is active, like the A/C switch etc.

Yeah the one I have seen comes with no handbrake gaiter. I think it will be a worth while modification, such a shame they never did it for the uk.

Setting 2 = pussy
Setting 3 ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOLD ON LOL.

There a nice bit of kit, I spent about 3k on the engine. I should've turbo'd the dam thing instead.

Wait for a second hand kit to turn up, usually one or two a year pop up, go for between £1250 and £2000
I will have a stage 1 kit for sale soon, might have a stage 2 kit for sale too soon as I might go turbo now
