There is alot of hate in this thread and as a general rule I agree with every point....... And I think I can consume it all in one HAtE, I hate the term hate but everything that is scene really does make my piss itch.............. I have a stripped out breadvan on banded steels but the tyres DO fit and yes it has been around Croft more times than I was gifted fingers on bth hands.........

Some people are so naive.... I remember owning a 2litre xe Mk1 astra booked as a 1.2ltr, I thought I was so clever fixing producers by adding 1. in front of the 2litre and little did I realise I was only cheating myself.

Well I just had my boiler replaced with a Vailent so no problem in that department, BUT as I live in an old terraced street all the houses have a shared under floor space in the front room. Well we have heard scratching since mid December and the amount of poison the little bastards have eaten is unreal.............

I once caked the threads in copper grease and it just reacted with the coating on the threads. Now I just wrap loads of electrical tape round and spray liquid grease on. -

Cheers Lukey, Your post about the variable geometry inlet gave me an idea, If mine is faulty then that would explain the drop off in power at high rpm's so I did a little gooogling found this on Vortex The thread is about turbo charging I believe but this post strengthened my theory, Qoute:- It's easier to read the full sized version.
