Surreyvr6 got a reaction from jez_monkey in Representing
Yeh there great, no faults in the stitching, good material. Hoods the right size, I'm fussy about hoods, hate it when they are too big or too small lol. Feels very comfy on too, the insides very soft.

I'll get my mrs to write a review as no doubt she will steal it! Why do women always nick our hoodies!

I live in mine
Even in the harsh winds at blackpool it kept me snug
Good to see some feedback (you can leave reviews in our store)
Thanks for helping the club and supporting us

Nice feedback on them would be great.
You've got them before the club shop manager (me!)

Passenger side
Refitted door car to test position of speakers
I then full sound deadened the rear of the panels, but i didn't get a photo.
Made up the the amp and speaker wires, not all of them in photo
Wired up the amp in the boot, still need to make a panel to hold the amp in place in the boot. 1200watt, wont be using all the power. mainly for the low pass filter. and frequency adjustment.
Cut the whole for the bass port.
Fixed the panel in place with self tapping screws and large washer, and covered all the edges with sound deadened.
Refitted door card for final tine.
Cant even see it with the cover on
And they sound brilliant, as good as a 10" sub easily, they kick like two little beasts. plus all the sound deadening helped alot.
There 400watt rms each, 800 watt peak, Mid bass drivers,
set up on a low pass filter, with a subsonic filter at approx 35Hz.

While since I've updated this so here goes... Got some new rims for her, rs035 and rs037
Also been buying a few odd bits which where waiting for me when I got down to my parents this weekend, was like a kid at Christmas!
Haven't seen my parents for a while so didn't want to be too anti social but did manage to fit the rims...
...got to love a bit of poke!
And brake fluid resevior cap, certainly beats the old knackered one and instantly made the bay look a bit fresher, not bad for 5 seconds labour!! Cheers calico for the cap!
And this is it's new home for the mean while, plan at the minute is to leave it there, stock up with the bits it needs and give it a proper overhaul over the winter, but we'll see how long that lasts as I'll probably miss it to much and go and fetch it back at some point

Surreyvr6 reacted to Lukey. in Exhaust choices
I fitted a Jetex non res to mine last summer and think that's brilliant, gives a nice sound at whatever throttle you're giving. Idle sounds nice, just letting te car drive itself through town is near silent and hen you nail it you get the almighty roar.

Surreyvr6 reacted to khare in Khare's Highline Project
Put the car on the rollers at JKM today, very happy with results!!!
Other than the BMC CDA and ported throttle body done by me, the car is standard engine wise, so now I know it's healthy inside!!! I didn't even do my usual pre dyno service of plugs and oil, so once I do the plugs, oil, leads and fit the lovely milltek decat I have in the shed, I should be looking at 200hp Roll on the good times!

Surreyvr6 reacted to MK4motionVR6 in Timing components parts list.
Hey guys I've recently put together a full list of all the components needed to complete an overhaul of the timing chains for the MK4 24v 2.8 VR6.
I've also included all part No.s & prices without VAT from TPS.
Here is a link to the list in my Dropbox..
