I've been with Virgin Media since they took over from Telewest and it's fine! The fibre optic broadband is second to none although the TV packages can be expensive if you have the top Sky packages, i.e. sports and movies. If you do go for Virgin get someone (like me!) who already has it to 'recommend' you, we'll both get £50 credit. :-)

Feel for you mate. Hope you can get enough together to her sorted. The old VR6's don't have the best standard suspension set-up. Mine has it's MOT in December and I know that it's the suspension that will give me hassle. I know I need new shocks and springs, top mount bushes and real axle bushes :-(
