    When I did mine, I cut out the spare wheel holder, sound proofed where the spare wheel sits and made the sub sit over that area with the rest of the boot covered in carpeted wood, raised it using some rubber mounts so it wouldn't vibrate too much either

    If it is behind the radiator though it won't get any power until high up the rev range..

    Do you have an induction kit? If so could be in the wrong place, I.e taking in to much hot air due to the weather bein different. If not could be a fueling issue

    Why not get an mr2 rear subframe, hubs, diff, etc and get a one series diff and fabricate the subframe for the 6-pot?

    What parts fit onto a mk3 vr? Is it things like the thermostat housing? But what would I do about the hoses? Any other parts would be useful Thanks people.

    It would require alot of power to drive this though? I think one of the fast brabus's uses 100 bhp just to power the massive charger but would be cool though on a vr! Would be able to fit in a mk3 but not a corrado

    Thermostat could have frozen shut as that what happened to mine the otherday when it was about -15 it overheated then so maybe some more coolant? Try more coolant than water?

    Might be able to get someone else? Although he does not have a vr, he has a seat Toledo 1.9tdi but has been remapped and has 320n/m of torque and about 150bhp?
