Yeah I have just finished mine this week. I used mk3 subframe, power steering, hubs, brakes, I used the mk2 front cross member with a special mount off eBay for £40. Just make sure you hammer the chassis leg for clearance of the pulley.
It depends what suspension set up you have on the mk2 tbh. If that is set up correctly, I.e camber caster etc then maybe. But 4mo usually has the edge.
Don't do it lol just buy a rear wheel wheel drive car. 4wd yes but rwd in a short body car. Not going to be doing much drifting, more understeer and deadly oversteer on such a short wheel base, it has been done and proven to be shocking, buy an old BMW and have fun in that
He fell over twice! He fell over running on the track grabbing the remaining parts, saw someone flying round the corner and fell over again trying to move out the way! Funny but bet he made a mess in his pants!
Someone took out that yellow iron pole today that was cemented into the ground and it brought up all the concrete. The person just drove off with a smashes rear bumper.
I push trollys in Sainsburys supermarket(money while I am a student) and you won't believe the amour of car park crashes we get, we have a iron pole in bright yellow cemented into the ground and I gets knocked over on a monthly basis. It's mostly old people and w****rs that crash.
