  1. I'm well up for this one
  2. Can just about see mine here, gotta go twin though...
  3. Hahah I had a good day despite being very rough from the night before.
  4. Loads more there http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l218/Sheeldzy/
  5. Cheers, paint is all original was garaged and off the road for three years. I got it as a bit of fun and it's starting to consume me a bit... ...paid £1k for the car with 81k miles, from a friend who had been using it as a weekend toy. We did the headgasket and a load of other little bits and pieces on it last summer and now it's my turn to play with it this summer
  6. Cheers mate. got a few other bits lined up to do soon too...
  7. Had it for about a month now, done quite a few bits and bobs to tidy her up so let me know what you think. When I got it... Now...
  8. I'm going on sunday. Be there for around 11.30 I recon
  9. Slightly downmarket compared to TVR but Renault Master/ Vauxhall Movano vans also have wipers with built in washers. Possible cheap option.
  10. I'm going but I'm on a local clubs stand. Should be good though. Would've gone on a VR6oc stand but not checked on here untill now... ...silly me...
  11. I can vouch for heat soak troubles with Eaton chargers. Had one on my IS200 and it has impossible to get the charge as cool as I'd have liked. Be good to see one on a VR though
  12. Dibs on the inlet and rocker cover if it's OBD 1
  13. Yup I'm rolling 215/35/17 and that is what I'm getting now. Good to be confident I'm not gonna lose a con rod
  14. Punch and hammer FTW. Do take care with the heat, warm and cool them gradually as the alloy is loads more brittle than steel. Should be fine though.
  15. Sniff test first to confirm though, not sure I made that 100% clear
  16. Head gasket probably, get it sniff tested and done asap. My VR6 had this happen when my friend had it last year. His header tank cap then failed and the header tank split at the seam. We rebuilt the head in his Mam's kitchen while she was caravaning. Valve grinding paste all over the curtains, what an odd summer.
  17. Sheeldzy69 XBox 360 - plenty of Forza, plenty of Battlefield Bad Co. 2
  18. Yeah fumes were only bad on a long run, hot oil and all that, blah blah. Glad all is sorted
  19. Previous owner had done this to mine and the fumes were awful on a run. I managed to get an oil catch tank for £25 so fitter that this morning. Seems spot on and looks pretty too
  20. Very big thanks from me too guys
