My Jetta 5 2L Turbo -
fitted some wheels and done a Straight 63mm Exhaust with two boxes, she sounds good. need to ad a new front spoiler and oil catch tank..and tune her

After the test drive i need to bleed out the brakes and check the alignment but other than that just need to put some km's on the motor and fit the branches and exhaust

3.1L build the mess assembled everything... first time crank and it started up, no knocks, pings or sounds... taking her out tonight for a test drive

thanks man, block is out, just the money problem now lol... going to do new chains, bearings, mains, everything new... bore out with BMW M40 pistons and lighten the flywheel... progress will be slow again

on the way home a lady in a BMW 1 series knocks into the back of me, cracking the rear bumper and just before getting stuck on the N1 when a plastic make shift T exploded, thought the car was on fire lol... what a friday the 13th indeed.. anyhooo fixed the pipe with a metal piece and went to the dyno the saturday 14th, picked up another 9kw, so on the pump fuel map im sitting on 144kw on the fly.. Off to MSA: best time of the day was a 15.002 got crank case ventilation , smoke out the top and zorst on WOT then some rims...... but then sold again now: ok so head off and we s

what management you running? "low compression in some of the cylinders" - i could guess this is the issue perhaps the rings are collapsed, also those metal fragments could have damaged the bore/pistons/rings/etc... i have gotten motors from Mikes in CPT, fitted and started already but i always strip the motor down before fitting just to make sure everything looks good and replace the important bits which has wear on them. if you have skype hit me up.... -

Done another drag event: 185km per hour over 800m after 2 runs... retired as my oil cooler water pipe tore, fixed it but was still 200km's from home so didnt want to chance it. nice day had all round and looking to go a bit faster at the next event.. i didnt strip the car down as many others had done, so that is school fees for me. i ran the same speed as a mk1 vr6, 3.1 with gas, so not bad really, also had a run with a 13.2 sec 16v mk1 and sat a car behind him, so things coming along nicely... next drags is the 4th, i want to go, get a benchmark and then pull the motor again for 3.1, branche

1st run: 15.5 - spun into 3rd gear 2nd run: 15.3 - spun into 3rd gear again 3rd run: 15.1 - dropped the tyre pressure a bit but still way too much spinning... little mk1 left me on the line 4th run 14.9 - dropped pressure to 1.5 bar but was still spinning my arse off....but didn't launch properly at the time wanted to go for a 5th run as i was really getting used to the car but the drags was over... Going for official drags saturday, car can go MUCH faster, i must just get used to it again...

Tuning: Jody Van Schoor Company: JVS Tuning Friday- Jody calls tell me my car spat out a welsh plug while he was loading the car on the dyno at 5000rpm.. off i go and we correct it. Saturday- Temperature - 37 degrees, 32 degrees inside Head on off to the dyno, start the car and let the fans pop on, everything looks good, half way through the first base run water comes shooting out of the water bottle, air lock, so we drain and make sure its 100's again. A load dyno is no fokken joke... if anything had to break it would have exploded on the dyno, so i can feel feathers hitting limited who
