  1. I did mine about 8 years ago, you will need to get the master cylinder from a vr6 and then there is a plate that you can remove behind the clutch pedal where you will install the cyclinder. How are you going about the conversation? Have you got a Donna car?
  2. I converted my 1.6 to vr6 I didn't need to replace the pedal box you take the clutch cable out and the clutch master cylinder clips into the pedal/screws on the fire wall. As for break lines, you will be able to use the hard lines but not the soft ones. Feel free to ask any more.
  3. I'll buy them if you can get a decent price on postefe to Bedford.
  4. Would be interested but not at that price I would happy pay 250, 200 is the going rate on eBay for curbed ones.
  5. You can get a copy of the original coil pack for under 40 quid if you look about, I think my neighbor got his from BEDFORD batterys. If your looking for the real bullet proof Idea look for msd coils running through the original ICM.
  6. If you are close to Bedford UK your welcome to try my coil pack. I'm almost certain that it will be your problem.
  7. I wish replace the coil pack, there not a good design, iv had a few ICM go on me.
  8. Bolts arrived the other day, thanks Louis!
  9. Hi, Can I get the power steering hose, pump fluid reservoir and rack? And the column between the wheel and rack? I need everything between the stearing wheel and wheels basically. Cheers Paul
  10. Hi, I would like to buy them? Could you price up postege I'm based in Bedford. Cheers Paul
  11. Have you tried a different relay? Btw before you change the ignition switch just connect the swtch outside the barrel and use a screw driver, leave you key in the original switch for the immobilizer. This way you can test it without all the work.
  12. Been using kptunning website today for wiring, iv got spark and fuel but every other sensor is not working how it should. I need to go through the ECU and check the build, hopefully it will be started by next weekend, if not I may give up and pay Paul at KP.
  13. I think c2 is now closed can't seem to find anything to suggest there open. Installing a mega squirt ECU that I have right now, of I can't get that to work I may need to look at a immobilizer defeat again.
  14. Just wondering if anyone has run into this problem. I had my ECU immobilizer defeat fine by c2 about 6 years ago, just redone all my grounds and relocate the battery into the boot. Car won't run for longer than a couple of seconds, connected vagcom up and had immobilizer stopped engine fault. This is really weird that the immobilizer has just become active again. If you have any thoughts let me know.
  15. Thanks for getting back to me, I'll have a play and see what I can do.
  16. If I edit my map isn't the car going to use maf sensor as the main source of data for the air going into the engine? I remember the maf been a weak point.
  17. Sorry to dig this from the Sorry to dig this from the grave had alot pop up in life and had to put the golf at the back of the list, any chance you could let me know more about this?
  18. I want to go forced induction eventually and I want to get most of my parts from the scrappy which mega squirt is fairly good at accommodating and I just want to teach my self something new Tbh, my golf is a learning tool for me and not my daily.
  19. Ah your not inspiring my confidence here I'm only ruining it on a 12v so it shouldn't cause to much problems there i got to say megasquirt is a fair bit cheaper which is why I'm going down that road, looking at it I think I'm already going to have to modify it for extra spark just going to have to work out how.
  20. now let learning start, this ant going to be easy, I will need to work out what I have first any help will be appreciated.
  21. I did one on a clio last saterday just lay the old one ontop and compare, also you should drain the coolint first and make sure you have new head bolts.
  22. Hi Everyone, I was priced of the road in my vr6 three years ago due to high insurence but now I can afford to put my toy back on the road! finally been 25, i swapped the vr6 in about 5 years ago and i couldnt let her go, i just loved the car far to much. I allways had the problem where my car would never scan on VagCom so iv giving up with the standed ecu and got hold of a megasquirt 1 V3, i plan on keeping it as megasquirt 1 as i cant see any need for the incressed fuel tables for my needs. I hope to find the time this weekend to start installing megasquirt into my car, I plan on using
