  1. Thanks to the organisers. I really enjoyed my first OC event for 6 years and good to see some of the same faces. Shame I never got it on the rollers but a small misfire on the way down made me bottle it. Thanks to Pete for fixing the misfire (loose HT lead!). Roll on the next one!
  2. I'm sure they're the same. Can you bring it along, if you havn't left already.
  3. @vag-hag The scuttles sorted but I also need an OBD port cover, if you have one spare
  4. @stone Fantastic! I'll take the fibreglass ones for 80. I've been looking for replacements for ages. Will you be at the event tomorrow?
  5. New coilpacks fitted and the car is running sweet. Just going to get the tracking done later and we're ready for the rollers. @Vag-hag Do you have a cigarette lighter or front windscreen scuttles, left and right? If you have either I'll bring cash. Thanks
  6. Bugger! I was right up for coming to this, it would be my first VR6oc event since Billing about 8 yrs ago. My coilpacks decided to give up the ghost and she's running on 4/5 cylinders. I've ordered new ones which were to be delivered this morning and my neighbour was going to fit them. However it's now afternoon and no coillpacks. We rang the supplier and it seems the lad who took the call yesterday didn't order them! I may be lucky and get them tomorrow morning, in which case I'll be OK. If I don't get them in time I'll still come along in the four pot.
  7. Sorted! Clutch pedal no longer required.
  8. As above, I need a clutch pedal for my Mk3 VR6. I have one on back order but they reckon it'll take three weeks, so If anyone has one lying around? I'm located in Leicester and can collect from 50 mile radius or happy to pay courier fees.
  9. Mine was doing something similar last week and it turned out to be the HT leads. I was still running the original leads, car has 60k on the clock!
  10. I'm going to try and get over for this. It's been years since I went to a VR6OC meet. I'm just coming as a spectator.
  11. I emailed them about six weeks ago but got no reply . I was interested in supply and install of a turbo kit but I wasn't sure if they were still doing kits for a VR6.
  12. Looking gorgeous! One of my favourite cars of all time. You followed me from Tesco to Wigston Magna. I was in a mint green Mk3 Gti with VR6 wheels!!!
  13. Well, after eight and a half years and 130,000 miles I have sold my VR6. I didn't want to but it was getting on and needed too much work for me. I'm no mechanic and don't even own a spanner. If I could have worked on it myself I may have kept it. It's gone to young guy who intends on rebuilding the top end and sort the rust. He could end up with a cracker of a car! Farewell VR6OC -I'll be back when I've got an R32! Cheers Neil
  14. Can't make Saturfday now, damn.! See y'alll Sunday instead.
  15. Saturday afternoon it is then! I've had a new water pump fitted and a new belt -so's the heap may make it. I'm looking forward to seeing other owners and their cars. This is my first VR6OC do so please don't laugh to hard at the car!! Cheers N eil
  16. Not sure if I'll be able to make it but I'll try. I need some inspiration for the Rat VR I drive about in! Is this free event? Does it cost to get into Billing - only coming for a few hours, not camping. Cheers Neil
