    glad i saw this as i was gonna just lower the front of mine looks like coilovers all round then,or sell them and leave it standard,i really wanna leave it standard it just looks to high at the front tho,and yeh the wheels are nice:)

    its all down to my post code i think,i am sortin my insurance now as its up for renewal the 6th i was paying £776 last year renewal camr thru at £1100 i am furious i have never made a claim or had any points,i have searched hi and low but i cant find any better i am with performance direct when i complete renewal i will tell them if ever my brakes fail and i can either hit a l reg mondeo or a spankin bentley continental i will take the bentley out with pleasure,lol

    no way,,well im a man,i live in wv10(thats bad news) and said 6000 a year,with 5 years no claims and ohh yeh im 24,so they either think im a drug dealer and can afford it or they are just taking me for a mug:(

    lol,yeh the steering is a bit heavy especialy with the wider standard bbs i had on mine,and i really do belive u about the condition some of them just dont seem to rust but i have had some what do,usually its the lower front panel,rear panel,bottoms of the doors and jacking points,not forgetting the panel under the windscreen which is usual on most now,also i have had loads of mk2s but only 1 with heaters that work,lmao,i like the way u aint gonna spoil it either its a shame to change the appearance after its been like that for soo many years,although i would love it to look as it does now but

    good good theres usually a bit of plastic that breaks (under the gaitor)and u hit reverse instead of 1st,lol,, i really used to love the feel thru the steering wheel aswell(non power steering),hope u dont get addicted as that mk2 has a lot of potential:)

    im 24 and got 4 years no claims and i found performancedirect beat every 1 for me by more than £100 im now paying £750 which some of u might say thats dear but it goes by post code aswell,and im gonna be quiet now,lol

    very nice mate looks sweet,brave aswell putting the mulberry interior in,,but i can just imagine how good it really goes together,i thought it was going to look odd in mine as mines mystic blue but i think the mulberry would look good in any colour car,,ps lovin that arm rest:) i want 1,lol

    thats nice,my first vw was 1.3 mk2 lowered on spax for 550 it was white,and mint i looved it i used to go 75 round the motorway island and when i got of on to the motorway it only went 84 flat out,lmao,but it was the best car to have fun in by far,then i moved onto 8valve gti mk2s and i loved my black 1 to bits,(literally)i had a gas-flowed head fitted it used to beat my mates leon 20v t,but i smiled that much the bottom end gave up and as i was out of work at the time so did i,i looked so hard for a nice mk2 when i got a job again but they was all dogs and i had a vr and then another lol,i m

    no problem mate and i was going to keep the coilies but ive decided to keep it comfy and standard:) pm me an offer but they wont be available till the car gets scrapped because i have no more suspension to put on it
