  2. some pics i took today after a wash and polish, also fitted my pipercross cone filter just need some blue silicone hoses and a tidy up in the engine bay...oh and my manifold polishing.

  8. just got my new filter today, pipercross cosworth cone, blue silicone hosing should arrive in the morn so looking forward to it filling up the engine bay and a nice bit of induction noise

  13. yes thats the one mate, its very hidden and the fit and quality is very good too. I would definitely recommend it
  14. cheers, yeh i think so too plus the wiper arm was rusty anyway, yes mate its a cult society rear plinth, if you google it you can purchase online on there german website, im unsure if they have any uk suppliers
  15. Here is my vr6 after a clean and polish, owned it for just over a week now, done a few little jobs today that included, removing the rear wiper, fixing the petrol cap so it now locks when i lock the car and fitting some new bulbs,

I have only just purchased the car on friday so will be peace of mind to change it anyway, the previous owner bought a impreza so the vr6 ended up just sitting in his garage for just over two months so probably why its a little dirty then, i will give it a go today and see how i get on, cheers for your help
  17. yeh i might try that cheers, the water does seem quite dirty so i may flush the system anyway and clean up the sensor etc just incase thats causing it to play up and see how i get on from there.
  18. this is similar to what i have, just bought a vr6 thats been sitting in a garage for past few months and seems to be an oil residue in the coolant, does it need changing or is this sign of a head gasket failure?
  19. just picked my vr6 up last nite, driven 150 miles, started her up this morning and the coolant level light keeps flashing now and again, i keep ckecking the level and its sitting at just below max and dont seem to be loosing anything, could this be a sensor prob or...possible headgasket on its way out? any help would be much appreciated as im starting to panic now, lol
