    So just to keep this thread alive here's a few pics from recently, the chosen wheels were a set of 17" RH ZW1's, 8.5" fronts and 9" rears, all wrapped in 205/40/17 falken ze914, the lips are aftermarket items so a lot wider than normal will update with full details soon, also finished off with mirror polished bolts to complete the look. I'm running custom made pcd adaptors which have seen a lot of trial and error to get the desired fitment and after several visits to a friends for further machining I'm pretty happy with the fitment combined with further lows and a touch of camber dialled in fo

    Dubs at the Castle 2014

    Dubs at the castle Caldicot, Monmouthshire, South Wales I know it's a long way off but as the organisers have already gone live with the new website and ticket sales are now open I thought I'd throw this post up and hopefully get a bigger turn out to this event. The show is a really nice chilled out weekend set in the grounds of caldicot castle and great for families too with the ever popular show and shine being held on the Sunday, Friday and Saturday evening comprises of country and western fancy dress theme and live music with onsite bar and other pubs in close waking distance.     Been busy over the festive period with usual commitments and just 2 days off work but glad it's all done, time to focus on the Golf again now, Looking forward to fitting the new interior and extra additions. Also have a few engine dress up bits to add along the way :-)

    After such a good weekend this year and some of the finest vw's in Europe on show there is a few of us interested in heading over again in 2014 if anybody is interested in joining and making it in to a vr6oc trip. Here are some details. - 13th to the 15th June 2014. St quentin, France - Less than 2 hours from Calais on a straight and smooth motorway - Huge party on saturday night - camping ground is included in the show ticket price which is 25 EUR for the full week-end per person - show and shine display on the Sunday. Cars need to be entered/picked on the Saturday. - As a guide price return

    I've had a blackberry tablet which was pretty good just for browsing the web although compared with using the ipad 2 daily at work it seemed a little slow at times. Guess it comes down to cost really. Now using ipad mini and would highly recommend

    It is an amazing show, we combined it into a longer holiday this year but next year is a certain, Already started planning and it's good now we have been how we can plan it better rather than going not knowing what to expect. :-)

    Thought I'd share a few pics from our road trip over to vw days earlier this year, Amazing show, great chilled out atmosphere, amazing cars, fantastic party on the Saturday night of the show, already planning the next trip in June 2014 if anybody is interested in tagging along.     Hi all, Been thinking about a set of performance cams for my 3.2 24v, The current currency rate if buying from the u.s has swayed this decision a bit more and just want to see what people recommend, At the moment I have found the schrick camshafts 268/264 duration or the 034 motorsports cams 264/260 duration. Anybody have any experience or advice on the above items? Thanks

Club camping available and from past experience we always get allocated a decent size plot. So get your names

    I'm sure with the correct adaptors and using fronts you can run the 312mm or the bigger 330/334 i think, I've heard from a few places not to run the rears on the front, I'd rather squeeze the biggest I can in there to be honest.
