    Been busy beavering away up at my freezing workshop! I've been meaning to modify the boost pipe that routes over the engine, because it used to rub on the bonnet, which is even worse now with the carbon bonnet! But to do that i needed to modify the rocker cover to allow for the different route of the pipe. Which also bought up the issue of the oil breather, which had to be removed and relocated to the front of the cover. Just sorting the pics out now!

    Neat idea. Saves using an old sand bag or something similar! (or what ever landy rover drivers use) :-)

    I can make up pipes if needed mate, you can get unions an pipe from any motor factors.

    I'l give you a hand mate, make sure you can spray up the brake unions with wd40, should help release then from you old hoses.

    Make sure you pull the old wires out something attatched to them, i.e a cable or string, so you can pull the loom through your new tailgate. I didn't, and it was a pain in the back side!!

    Every performance engined car i've had requires topping up with oil, i suppose its just the nature of the engines. Early signs of the matrix leaking would be a damp passenger foot-well, or drips falling from under the dash on the passenger side.

    As above, wrap it, 100%. It will save you boiling brake fluid/melting wiring andcut down heat in the engine bay.

    Could be the oil cooler, the seal between that and the engine, or it could be the seal around the crankshaft sensor.
