  1. happy to help! i dunno much but what i do is worth knowing!!
  2. thats it on the left anyway lol
  3. this is my car, as it was pictured by the guy i got it from, hope you all like it. i do! iv got big plans and im keeping this one. she thinks its her engagement ring fund lol! il just have to save for that seperately. its relatively standard and a little rough but il sort it out. it'll take time but its worth it.
  4. just had a listen, its not very noticable, think (hope) im just being paranoid!
  5. iv read a few posts now referring to chain rattle, how can i tell if i have it? will it be really loud and obvious or is it more of a sort of light tinkling type noise, sorry my descriptions a bit crap but i dunno if mines doin it? my car runs really smooth and makes a wonderfull noise on song but at idle there is a very light rattle. dont think its terminal but is it another job to add to my ever increasing list??
  6. tar and glue remover, available at most halfords type places, or just polish the hell out of it?
  7. thanks! iv looked under one of the plastic trims and found the expected rust!! but also found that a previous owner has decided to "treat" said rust.... so i will be leaving the trims on till everything else on the car is right then it can have new wings, rear arch repairs, the door and some body mods ready for paint. for now a machine polish and a bit of elbow grease is in order to get her presentable. plus more than a little bumper gel to revive the dull plastics

    puddles?

my car is parked in my back garden slightly facing up hill. its thrown it down last few days and now there is a deep puddle in the drivers side rear footwell. the drivers side front carpet is wet too? where's the water coming in?
  9. Last week i picked up a tidy ish N reg 3door in black. the front and rear bumpers seem to have been painted with a brush but this isn't an issue as i plan to smooth them (read get someone to smooth them for me!) the big question i have is how do i take the plastic arch extensions off. should my car even have them? the side rubbing strips are body coloured but the extensions are unpainted? im guessing once they're off il find a shitload of rust but never mind, they're going! i reckon the front arches will need replacing, is this an easy job and is there a rear arch replacement panel or is it j
  10. is that an offer on a? lol. il be putting mine in the for sale section asap!
  11. id say b, because mines got a on it and im changing it! i cant decide on de badged or badged tho??
  12. i will pop along and meet you guys but my vr6 will be in the car park this year. thats if i even bring it at all. il be at the show tho!
