  1. its not a bad job to do i ve done them but my engine don t work lol so can t really say if they are ok or not !

  3. you can take them apart and clean them all up but i would make sure you put them back the same way as you took them out ! he is sort of a guide on how to do it http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?1944667
  4. the only way to have a look at that pump is to take the rack pipe off and have a look at the blades! only way you would be able to see it ! plus if water is pissing out from the pump then yea its leaking i would say its a fair old job aswell ! depends on how good are you of takin the motor apart lol

  8. depends on if a proper garage rebuilt the engine ! and possiably somthing else might go wrong which then you will have to fix !

The oil I was using was I think was 10-40 I need to check that and yes was letting the rings bed in I wasnt going to rag the shit out of it then see my blood, sweat and tears go BOOM lol no I haven't vagcommed it and the lamber is a new lamber and the air flow sensor is new and a new pump and new reg and one second hand injector !!
  10. well lets put it this way ! first set of new rings too a week to wear ! and then the second lot of rings again ! a week !!

Right i have a problem i ve replace the rings of the bloody vr twice now and the same thing has happened twice !! really get on my tits now ! anyone shed some light on the subject ! problem is the rings wear away to quick ! i ve taken the bottom end to sutton rebore for them to measure it as they might have a clue whats going on ! i told them the story and they rekcon that the vr is over fueling and wearing the rings out !! now is this possible ??? or am i going made ! the only reason it could be overfueling is the one injector i changed ! now if anyone has any idea please let me know thanks s

  13. I done my calipers in rs green which i bought the kit off ebay really good came with a spray cleaner which took all the shit off ! but bfore i use a proper kit i used hammerite which stayed on here is a couple of pics ! hammerite proper kit with the wheels on hope this helps !

Hello i wounder what people can offer in advice on looking at chargers i know that the vortex chargers are the best but which one im looking at both a v2 and a v9. but what would be the better charger for one and also would it be a good idea to put green top injectors in ?? and is there anything im missing that i would need ? thanks steve

  20. It gets a lot of use and various people have borrowed it. You are more than welcome to borrow it but with the golden rule: It comes back straight after you've used it and in the same condition that you got it.... thats fair enough looks very clean lol and yea i would return straight away !
