    Hi, I have a problem with my brake lights, neither are coming on when I brake, I have changed the bulbs and still nothing, iv checked the fuse and that is fine! Now I am lost, what else could it be?! Please help fear of driving at night and being pulled over and fined

    You can get a shine of matt black paint by giving it a good wax, seen a few now that look nice after a detail!!

    Hi All, My mate has asked me to detail his new M3 (new to him) convertable, I said fine as it will be anice day etc.. However i have never had the oppurtunity to clean a fabric, just wondering what you convertable guys would use; cleaner wise and what would you use to do it, i have heard a fine brush or sponge will do the job? All help appreciated. Cheers,

    No it doesnt look like primer mate, just looks very faded!! Take it to a body shop and see what they suggest? advice is free!

    Looks great mate, you must be buzzing with the paintwork looks mint!! if you dont mind me asking how much was the re spray? i have the same problem with the sump, my plug has be scrapped and battered, needs some work lol joys of riding low!

    Hmm i would try buffing that out with a good cutting compound, if that fails try wet n dry sand paper about 1000grit then polish, other than that a respray? You need a mirror glass removal tool, think you can pick them up from VW for a tenner, like i say i would just replace the wing mirror!

    You can get cheap glass that sticks on the top of your exsisting glass from halfords or local car accesory shop, however if you have heated wing mirrors they will not work, i recommend either replacing the glass which you will need a special tool for, or replacing the wing mirror itself, for £15 i would consider that cheap. have you got a zoomed out pic of the door handle?

    have you tried polish around the dorr handles? a good cutting compound might help? Wing mirrors are always on ebay try looking there buddy, just as cheap as replacing the glass.

    Right... MOT on the car now ....However i know have an oil leak, of which i think is coming from the sump, and also have a lot of water coming into the drivers foot well i believe this is coming up from the sill, however i will have to take the wing of to confirm this.... oh the joys lol

    MOT n Tax has now run out, i have a cracked windscreen and dodgy bushes, so i think im going to have to sorn it for a while bad times people bad times
