Hi I have decided to drill my airbox and leave the normal vw panel filter in? good idea? Okay i have gon to the knowledge vault and have used the link for the "drill your airbox" to the website vw vortex but i cant view the link page. Any ideas on how to to get to the page or how to guide to drill the airbox? Cheers.

My vw in dunstable brand new genuine set of four, with drivers heel pad and 2x fixing brackets and drivers mat with vw badge, i paid about £25.00 plus little bit more for vat. Bargain and they fit perfectly.

Hi Okay i was going to change one of my bulbs in the rear light, open the boot, on the drivers side i peeled back the boot carpet which covers the rear light, and i noticed a foam box straped to the car just underneath the light. I opened the foam box comes apart in 2 pieces and then there was a black plastic box inside the foam box, checked it out it had wires coming out of it. I panicked and put the box CAREFULLY back into the car and left it. Any ideas on what this box is or what it does? Cheers guys.

I ended up buying my mats from vw main dealer, black set of 4 with vw badge in drivers mat and heel pad in drivers mat for £25.00, they had one set for £60.00 and one for £25.00. I think bargain price for £25.00 also with drivers fixing points 2x.

Hi What is the best method to clean windows, interior mirrors, side mirrors and the glass inside and outside? What are the best poducts to use? Cheers.

Hi What is the best way and product to use to clean leather interior, my mk3 highline leather. I bought armor all leather wipes, used them they are okay when you wipe them first time round makes the leather look shine, put once it dries up it looks pretty much the same as before i used the wipes. What products are people on here using? Cheers.

Erm it looks quiet nice, i think i saw that on pistonheads too, as the car is close to you, pop down and have a look, check the paperwork, the logbook usually has the previous owners details, give them a call.

Get some pics up of the car if you can, it might help jog peoples memories.

Last week i bought a thermostat housing from gsf not a very good fit, the 3 holes where the yellow, brown and blue sensors fit in, leaked very badly because of a crap build, and bought a genuine one from vw a little more expensive but the housing was perfect no leaks etc.
