  1. Where abouts on head is it and where does it earth to?
  2. Yup. All 3 connections rechecked, are there any engine earth leads I may have not connected? What earth leads are on the vr engine?
  3. I checked the knock sensor and crank sensor plugs and they are both connected correctly :-( I really cant see why she will not start
  4. Folks, I had to change my vr engine due to previous frost damage. I sourced a AAA code engine, swapped over the ancillaries and put her back in. On turning the key the car is cranking over fine however she will not fire. I removed one plug and turned her over but there is definitely no spark. Any ideas folks as I've literally unplugged one engine and plugged th new one in. The immobiliser works as before. The new engine came from a sharan. There are a couple of spare connectors on that loom but that should not affect car starting. My only thought is that the ecu is not seeing crank. Where is t
  5. Where does the battery negative terminal connect to on the car(mk3 vr6) to create the earth? I removed it when swapping out my old engine but can't remember where it connects to exactly??

  7. I've got some 7x17j speedline alloys off my impreza turbo. They are 5 x 100 PCD. But dont sit on the hub snug. Can I fit them with the use of spigot rings? If so what size spigot rings should I use? Regards Ben

  9. In principle yes but does not explain how the upper bonnet skin has been pressed to accomodate the vents?
  10. Is it possible the holes have somehow been machine pressed?
  11. I'll get the bonnet up first thing and put up some pics. Even from underneath the fitment looks o/e. The vents are stamped GM tho
  12. Yup, the fitment is very impressive for an aftermarket product. I just need those rims now to get my stance right. Anyone need some polished Audi winters? Now for sale :-)
