Still pipework and catch can to do then fit mk3 tank for fuelling.just small snags weird how my charger pulley is only 6 groove.i got hold of a mk4 aircon pump on flea bay for £10 that was including delivery i removed pulley took of magnetic clutch and fitted new bearing into my 7 rib pulley and built that up it fits well and seriously light now since removal of magnet

Bought a 7dpk belt but noticed my charger pulley only has 6 grooves instead of the 7 as if i use the 7dpk the belt overhangs by 1 rib.so bought another belt this time a 6dpk

Does anyone know if the mk4 golf aircon compressor would bolt upto the mk3 bracket? I can only see a difference of the 2 compressors that the mk3 pulley is 7 rib whereas the mk4 is 6 rib cheers

Yeah its nearly new i have a spare set of bearings for alternator in my shed of spare parts..

Bit of grafting came up not bad.hopefully have the bits bolted on this weekjust fabricating a pulley in place of aircon pump to save having a big bulky pump only to be used as an idler

Im needing the plug for the vr fuel pump if anyone can help might need it with a bit of length for joining onto my mk2 loom.cheers

Crankcase breather im not keen on putting it before the charger (obviously it has to go there) im not wanting any spatters of oil going through the charger plus makes my pipework easier so any recommendations what to do with it?filter or catch tank? Cheers

Sorted now just needing a set of fuel pipes from tank to filter including the filter bracket and upto the engine bay
