  1. I take it the manifold arrived safe and sound. Looks awesome!
  2. Slighty, but I have changed ISP's since so maybe it was an issue with them? Thanks for asking.....
  3. What about 205/45/16's? Are they 32 all round as that is what I have been told as well. Thanks
  4. Ok, anyone in London with a Vagcom and willing to help me out? Thanks
  5. Hello members.... On two occasions within the past week I have had an weird problem, basically accelerated hard on first gear changed at around 4000rpm to second gear and then the revs went all the way to 6000 rpm for a few seconds before coming back down again. Not sure if this accurately describes the issue but it is as if the accelerator cable is sticky or something like that. Like I said it has only happened twice, maybe the throttle body requires cleaning??Any hints on resolving this one? Thanks in advance.....
  6. Did use a dianostic code reader (non vagcom) came up with no errors....should I just change the sensor anyways? Also don't have climate control.
  7. Wow, I am truly amazed by the consuption of your cars.....did a 40 miles round trip on the motorway today and the max I got was 25mpg, I constantly get around 15 mpg driving around town, can anyone suggest what I should check, car was fully serviced around 700 miles ago, also using premium fuel ???
  8. 8 miles return trip daily gives me 15 mpg, max I would get off a full tank is around 160 miles , Motorways returns around 25ish per gallon.
  9. Phat VR6, can you let me know if the vagcom cable you bought works as I was going to get one but read on here that they don't work??
  10. Yes it is the same, my 1995 model says 174bhp in the owners manual and it also has the 258 CH ecu.
  11. Wow, one wicked vr...never thought a white vr could look that good!! Awesome
  12. Yeah silly money...but if you really take your car on the track then it is worth it, realistic I know that I will never bother to adjust them if I did fit them. Solely use mine for nor,mal road use. Also the cheap kits sieze after a liitle while....so might as well spend the cash if you got it.
  13. They are koni damp adjustable not colies, paid £45 incl postage bargain imo, they were in good condition. Did buy used coilies of ebay but they where damaged. Most of the coilies off ebay are dodgy, another owner on here got done on a set as well......so maybe brand new for colies would be a better option? PS: Thanks for the positive comments.......I will get there soon, well hopefully.
  14. Thanks mate, I see you had yours done as well. Nice , removed the arches and found rust, I guess no surprise there
  15. Love those seats, also I agree PhatVr, the front end is not all that, the rear looks wicked. :-p
  16. Well it is well worth a grand...maybe one day I will have the skills to do a mk3 cabrio

  18. I wish I could afford the E30, but with the mk5 we will have 3 cars, might have to sell one, that will be a difficult decision......the search is on, will post some pics when I find one, thanks for the input guy's.
  19. Awesome sound! Great work , do you mind me asking what the entire project cost approx? Be wary of Jerry!!!
  20. Though as much, but just wanted to be sure, no point changing the sensor then. Wow no engine issues , wow!
  21. Hello Guy's, I have a fault coder reader (Not vagcom), I have scanned the ecu and it has returned two error codes relating to the abs sensors, my car has been juicy reently and was wondering if diagnostic readers can pick up faulty coolant sensors and so on? Thanks
