  8. Hello, I have noticed that a sensor type thingy is unplugged on my vr, it is located on the off side lower front bumper grill, not really sure what it is and what difference it will make, it appears to be grey and is 2 pin....can someone advise? Thanks Also my car has a K&N filter (induction kit) not sure if that has anything to do with it?
  9. Thanks for that, so what you are saying is that the TDi kit can be used? Also what about Corrado kits? Reason is that I can't seem to find a kit on ebay for the vr. Regards
  10. Hello, Does anyone know if the golf mk3 gti lowering kit will fit the vr6? The kit will consist of dampers and springs. Also mine is a 1995 model, I beleive some models require a smaller pigtail spring, what does mine require? Thanks
  11. Ok, very new to the vr ownership, bought one last week, did not bother to look at the abs/airbag light on dash, anyways after 3 days of ownership the heater matrix gave up, so off to GSF and bought a new one, upon trying to remove the dash (Absolute pain) I noticed that the airbag/abs lights were not connected, so hooked them up and both remained on?? got a mate to test it using a diagnostic tool and it reports this error....... Airbag Igniter-Driver side N-95 the fault code is 024C ? not sure what to look for, opened up airbag reffited the connector to the airbag still same issue, can anyone

  13. Hello Mo123456 , Just to provide an indication, I just bought a 1995 Mk3 Golf Vr6, Silver 3dr with heated leather interior for £1700. The car has done 100 000 miles, service history is a bit shabby, no main dealer stamps from 75K onwards, I looked for a vr for about a month and finally got tired and just settled for this one! It is a personal thing I suppose, but £2800 is a bit extreme, ask him to remove his ICE and bring the price down to 1700??? After all it is just extra weight! , I have also seen 97 highlines selling for around +/- £2300 with average of 90000 miles. Regards Yaseen
