Can you put me down for the sunday club stand? i live 7 miles away! but dont think my wife who is expecting are 3 child would be to pleased if i go off for the weekend on the lash. -
on a sunday morning drive to the shops i got 40.9, that was being a really good boy with the family onboard but most of the time i average 28

anyone know where i can get one of those white clips that fits to the top of the clutch pedel and joins to the cable, my mate's went snap today so i toe'd him home and came on here to work it all out.

Dony know if im naming it right but im after a male electric plug that conects to the ABS on the top of the hub, Cant seem to find one anywhere so im guessing its a vw speacal order only. if anyone could tell me the part number or even the proper name for it that would be great. Merry Xmas!

you can pick up a cheap engine for a few hundred, i did and all it cist was £350 including fitting.

oh and iv just come back from the pub where i seen some young kid who must have won the lotto in a silver X5 with 24" chrome 3spokes and more speakers then your local halfords and a privat plate reading SNOTY playing brum and bass way to loud..........WHAT A PENASS! i live in a small village full of old peeps where the average age is 80...........WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!

was driving up to rugby the on tuesday morning with my boss (older brother) talking about company cars when we seen an M3. he said he likes them but cant bring himself to get one because of the stigma that comes with owning one, that seconed we overtake him and have a nose in at him. white shirt with big collar and pink tie,sunglasses (it was raining) bluetooth on his ear and he was looking at him self in the rear view mirror...... we both looked at each other and said naaaaaaaa!

are you sure its off? its only off when it says econ on the display, AUTO is on ECON is off and also when its blank its still on.

you should defo get a custom one made up as they can make it sound as loud or as quite as you prefer. as for someone aroud kent i cant help as im from bristol. mine cost me around £400 with is a cat back full s/s and its guaranted for the life of the car so i think its also a good investment.

i got a new engine fitted in mine not long ago with 80k miles new chains and guides and tappets and cluch all fitted for less then £500.......i did have to do the water pump last weekend thou.

best start from scrath and get it serviced then you'll know for sure how much oil is in there, infact give it a full service changing the plugs and leeds too and see if it feels lumpy after. iv just orderd a new lambda as im getting sod all mpg and it runs a bit ruff. process of alimanation(sp?) -
started at 2.45pm.............new pump delivered at 3.20pm..........drove home at 4.05pm...........easy!

Funny that......iv just done the exact same thing today. i thought my timeing chains had failed again! id only had them done last month...turned out my water pump was nearly sezed solid...i had to use a large flat headed screwdriver to get the pump out but it broke into 4 pieces after the first hit. i too found the guide a fantastic help!!

some 19 year old round my way has taken out a huge loan and got a 54 plate wrx....hes a mate of a mate. anyway i was following him out of town the other day i was 3 cars behind and could see him zooming off. i was behind him at the next set of lights he shot off and i was stuck to him all the way, after a few miles he gave up.......it put a smile on my face for days.

just changed the water pump on mine, refiled the water bottle. what you need to do is let the engine get really hot so as the fans come on you will then see the water drain down in the bottle keep toping it up till its back up to max, it will overflow first so dont worry.

Need to change my water pump very soon and read that a mk4 one is better as it has metal blades but what mk4 one do i get? is it r32, 4motion or gti.

when cheaking the coilpack it might be easyer to take it off and have a good look at th underside of it,thats where mine went bad and i couldent see it. if alls ok with that try the air flow meter thing on top of the air box, do a search on here to find out how to reset it.

i drilled a small hole in my new one as they old one had some sort of preasure/bleeding hole in it from new. helps with air lock.

You could do it yourself its not a BIG big job to do. not sure how much they cost thou.
