  1. Just remember when you are gonna fit a Samco hose kit, that they are alot thicker than the stock hose's. So your OEM clamps can be abit hard to put on. But it's not a problem, you will figure out very easy how to make the OEM with bigger opening. And if you have a leak in the termostat housing, buy a brand new one! The housing are made off plastic, and its over 10 years old. Get a new termostat and housing. To make it easy, disconnect and remove your battery. Makes more room. AND be carefull not to tighten the housing screws TO hard. The treads in the engine block CAN brake easy. Been there,
  2. Ok, My gearbox is history. Hope that the Peloquin diff is fine. Bits and piece's came out when tapping the oil.
  3. C2 stop selling the 42# OBD1 set up. If you make yourself a custom 4" maf housing, and put your maf sensor in it, it might work to get someone to make you a chip. Unitronic maybe? Or you can hear with C2 if they have any options. Good luck.
  4. Ive been running 12-20 PSI all summer with 8.5:1,Peloquin and a TO4S 60-1. No issues what so ever. Just changed oil in my gearbox, and the old oil was fine. Sachs Race engineering clutch. Well, ive had one issue, and that is a intercooler hose that has come off twice. Full boost, a big BANG! and the engine shuts off, with terrible smoke:) But no issues, just hocked it on and drove away. On the Kinetic kit that I have, there is a intercooler connection next to the gearbox. The hose connection there is to small, so a new hose is installed. Problem solved. When it comes to mapping, im not sure if
  5. Why not throw in a OEM R32 oilcooler? Bolts right on. Not alot off space, but its twice the size as stock 12V.
  6. I bought my mounts from Kinetic. Its the stage 1 setup. http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u215/Maiden-VR6/?action=view&current=VWMinVR6TurbobilderC2OAP008.flv
  7. Logged Vag Com and wideband today. 20PSI all day long. AFR was 11-12.5 at full boost. Car runs very well, and are a real killer. Got 2 euro ECU'S back from C2 yesterday. 1xOBD1 30# and 1x0BD2 42# Both cars fired right up, and runs very good. So C2 was happy, and off course we are happy.
  8. When your water pump is finished, it starts to leak water. Check that. Remember that the water system on a VR6, is a common problem.
  9. Strange that UK should have diffrent ECU'S from rest off europe. Or does it? Bosch number: 0261 203 968/969, and the VW number: 74 021 906256 C2 sent me a US ECU that is working in my car. 8-)
  10. Piece togheter a kit, and use C2 Motorsports software like me. Its like running a completly stock VR6. The software upgrade is very impressive. OBD1 they have a setup that max out the injectors at around 15PSI. The MAF maxe\s out at 11PSI. OBD2 they have up to 440 injectors that max out around 19-22psi. You get a new/bigger MAF housing for the OBD2.
  11. My Sachs sport clutch that I put in January 2006, broke today. So everytime I hit boost, the car screams out but not much happens. Actually I thought it was about damn time that clutch was letting loose. Its been very strong, compared to what its made for. So this week it will be the new Race clutch in.
  12. No dyno yet. Ive had some troubles after 4500 - 5000 rpm from 4th - 5th gear. Seems like the engine is loosing power.. I guess its a typical boost leak. So I need to take a pressure test. Right now, Ive been driving for three weeks with 17.5 psi, and its great. No issue's. Vag Com had no faults. Pretty cool, when Vag Com found my engine. It said: AAA VR6 Turbo C2 Motorsports
  13. New Clutch is on my desk. 570nm/420lbs/ft. Right now im using a almost 2 year old Sachs sport upgrade clutch. Been driving a ZR2 with it and now 15-18 turbo PSI. No problems yet:) And a 15 psi Tial spring:)
  14. Use the Bosch, or one from Forge. The Bosch doesnt like heat, so the Forge is made in alu. The Bosch sound really nice on my car.
  15. Since C2 has been so helpfull, I got new plates in the mail today:)
  16. Wow, I havent been doing any research on the complete parts. But if you take the Kinetic Stage 3 kit, with a extra 300USD in Garrett 60/1 upgrade, a Peloquin, upgraded clutch, exhaust and some some other goddies such as extra fuel pump ang gauges... You will end up ALOT more than the original Kinetic stage 3 kit. Ive ordered most off the parts from the US and A
  17. Car is up and running, with complete 3" exhaust. 1 long muffler under the car and a muffler in the back with C2 OAP. Its loud as a f... ! The C2 OAP fitts great, you just need to take your time and do it right. The ECU needed 4-6 start ups to "settle" The Idle was a little up and down. But after 1 our driving is all good. Car drives like a dream. Im boosting only 6 psi now. Im not gonna do anything before I get the widebang hooked up tommorow. Some pics today. Been raining the hole day:
  18. Timing is perfect. Car runs very well. No issues at all. Exept that the boost was a little to much the first time:)
