  1. Test fitting OZ rings... I dont think this will work, at all... But here is what it looks like right now:
  2. Yep. Its my E85 thread. The reason I asked about it, is that a friend off mine have a Audi RS2. With MTM software and upgraded turboNetics. The car is not mapped to E85, but it runs very good with it. He had 18% more torque and 11% more whp. So E85 is very tempting.
  3. SQS gearbox is sold. So R32 02M here I come!
  4. Im not running E85 yet. But I will in the future. I run a Bosch 044 pump. Some more parts are coming in. Wiseco 82.5mm 9:1 com with forged rods. ARP all the way.
  5. Chris at C2 told me about a 630cc E85/pump gas module setup. So I might go there. E85 is freaking great.
  6. I will still run the C2 42# setup. And the engine will boost 1.4 bar as it has done since july 2007. When Im gonna fit the rods and pistons, I dont know. Stock engine still runs perfect. No issues.
  7. No gear yet.... The SQS is up for sale, and it looks like its gonna be fitted in a 84 Jetta VR6 Turbo:) Rally cross is pretty big here in Norway, and building custom axel's and fixing the R32 box to fit my mk3 sounded like a walk in the park for this guy I heard with. I will wait and see. A new set of Wiseco 9:1, 82.5mm pistons are ordered as well. Bought H-beam rods in june 2008. But what clutch to choose on a R32 box...
  8. Stage 1 is stiff. Its a pretty big diffrence from stock. But when you get used to it, it makes the car so much tighter. The hole driving experience feels better. You feel it best at idle offcourse. There is no chance in hell, that I can make the engine move when I try to with my hands. With OEM mounts, you can defently move it a little. Maybe the stage 0.5 have a little more comfort.. After the Peloquin, BFI mounts are one off the best mods on my car.
  9. Didnt this forum have a group buy awhile back, on DRC 268 cams? I know some guys in Sweden that had a group buy on them, and said they where just awesome!
  10. New engine mounts and a nice LSD diff
  11. It fitted my old Corrado just fine. And it bolts right up to your OEM cat. No issues. Chancing your engine mounts are a very nice upgrade. You will defently not regret it. Change all three. Incl the transmission mount. I have stage 1 mounts from http://store.blackforestindustries.com/bfist1pomomo.html And they are great.
  12. 3" Kinetic DP, with a Simmons 3" silencer after the DP. 3" C2 Motorsport Over axle piece, and a 3" Simmons silenser at the back. Everything is stainless steel, and dont make to much sound. Works great, and the C2 OAP fits perfect! Long distance driving is no problem. But after 3200 RPM at full throttle.. Its loud.
  13. SQS box is fine. But it was a production fault on third gear, so I needed to replace it. Its unlucky, yes. More unlucky was that the guy that are SQS went to hospital, and I have still not got my new gear. Almost three month's. Car hasnt been running since 6th of july. So now its gonna stay until all the snow is gone. Ive been running BKR7E with stock gap. I saw you had writen some stuff on a spark plug thread I had on the Vortex. The BKR is cheap, and work nice. But I asume there are better spark plugs out there than that. And like you say: Up to 1 bar, is fine. But after that, gears and clu
  14. DRC have nice cams also. Tell him your setup, and hear what he suggests. DSR 256 I can see alot off people talking warm about them. Building a VRT costs alot off money, and all the parts Ive bought so far has never been the cheapest way to go. But when im gonna buy new cams, I have a little finger on the 262's as a complete kit. I know SP 268 cams are released awhile ago. 268 FI cams sounds mean
  15. I dont need to hear what you say either. You read Vortex, and for the last 7 years Autotech cams have been proven. And if you dont understand that, take a look at Vortex.
  16. SQS gear sent today. They have had a problem after a accident, so things have taken over 2 months for me. Thats ok, because the car is not gonna be used before the snow goes away. So the box is getting togheter, and Im really not sure if Im gonna buy R32 box, with Peloquin diff and a biffy clutch. Plus all the other parts I need to do this swap. SQS is a easier plugn/play but not MY best solution. No doubt that the SQS will take alot off beating and torque with all the parts it got in my setup. But a R32 box I asume is even stronger.
  17. Autotech's cams are cut by the same people who do Shcimmel's. Bill Schimmel's engines have made more with his own cams. It depends on a heck of a lot more than just the cams. So are you trying to say Autotech's are better for half the price then? You love your plugging don't you :-) Im not saying that the Autotech cams are better. But they have proven to be good cams for the bucks. You need to agree on that Kev.

  19. No question that the SP 263 FI cams are good. But my opinion is that you can get good cams for half price. Billy-T on Vortex made 718whp on his 12V VRT with the Autotech 262... Adrian: By a a set off the 262's with new lifters and springs. Get it as a kit. Nice upgrade.
  20. What do I do with the outgoing 4Motion axel? I know all the other parts I need. But not sure on this axel. Anyone?
  21. I have been running a Garrett T04S a/r 63 for 1.5 year. Doesnt work very well, because the a/r63 exhaust is to small from 5500rpm on third gear and up. So I have purchased a a/r 1.06 GT35R. I know the a/r82 is working very well, but Ive talked to diffrent people running the GT35R with the 1.06 house and its a killer turbo!
  22. I sent SQS an email with pictures. Took 8 minutes before the answer came, and that a new gear was on its way to Norway:) Sent him the broken one. He tought it could be a production fault.
  23. When taking the gears togheter, we finally came to third gear. And this is how that looked. Third gear is on the left side off the top picture. Second gear is on the right side, top picture. This is supposed to be just one piece. Not two:)
  24. Here some new pics... Opening up the SQS box: A bearing to third gear is broken/bad. So all new bearings are gonna go in.
