  2. the coilovers have two metal rings on them mate an adjustment ring ( the top one ) and a locking ring ( the bottom one) the tool is a c-spanner, jack the car up and try and lossen the bottom locking nut off first, this could be easy or they wont move at all depending on how old the coilies are and how they have been looked after ! It may need a hammer and bolster in order to free the locking nut or some heat, once you have got them free you can wind them up but a few mm either side until your happy, you may need to wind the gearbox side one up a little more as that side always seems to sit low

  4. Thanks mate yeah I hope so been fully polybushed uprated engine mounts etc so should handle nicely I hope otherwise all this power is going to be a waste !
  5. Thanks mate not on the same level as yours but I am only learning ! Well its not been driven in anger yet but i have some large arb's several strut braces and a half cage bracing to go in yet so I am hoping it will be ok !
  6. a lot of peeps I know who run bays as shaved as that have extra under car panels to stop the dirt getting up into the bay but more peeps than that only ever run them on dry sunny days !

  13. yeah I would imagine so I have never had any real world experience of those engines with regards to mpg mate but with some bad weather around the corner and kiddies to cart about it has to be a winner ! don't know if they did a diesel quattro ?

  15. lol true and when I had mine mapped I was told to map it for normal fuel and then you can put both in it otherwise if you map it for the higher ron it will run like a bag of brown stuff on the lower ron !
  16. It had us doubled up when it started flashing. Epic moment... lol I bet and the video is class the light flashing as it runs down the strip is going to be soooo funny ! especially if Jake can keep his cool and not do a burnout no one will be expecting it
