  1. Already gapped at .22, With further inverstigation, the boost is fluttering between 15 and 20 psi, can only assume a fault with the wastegate, have a tial to go on it so hopefully this may cure the problem8-|

  3. Everything mate, new plugs, new leads, changed coilpack, fpr the lot.
  4. Its a 4" maf, running 440 green injectors and c2 software
  5. Have just done an oil change after rebuilding my vrt and as soon as you hit full throttle its like it running out of fuel, tried diagnostics various time but doesn't want to talk to me lol. Its running an in tank 305lph pump, t4 and set around 16psi, anyhting I can try, replaced maf alreday for one I know is fine, stumped *-)
  6. Cheers guys, its a custom one, made with an oem lower manifold, done by a chap in Germany for a very resonable price, he used to advertise on ebay.de but not sure if he still does.

Well after the cars hissy fit, on Sunday at e38 decided to pop the head off again as I suspect sumething is up with the rings... finished stripping it this morning and appear to have found the issue, number 5 piston is wet in comparrison to the others and appears oily and bore glazed :ninja: Rings hopefully fitted at the weekend and the build it up again

  10. Hi folks, wondered if anyone has an ideas for the issue I am having. Basically from startup hot or cold I have a lot of pressure coming out of the rocker cover breather pipe. On idle or under load it doesn't increase or decrease much at all. It a 12 vr6 turbo, bottom end only done 40k just had head gasket done and head skimmed as I thought this may be the cause, usses a 2.5mm spacer and steel vw gasket, car runs well, slightly ritch but thats all. Any ideas would be a great help as driving 700 miles to and from e38 next week and would prefer if I could sort it out. Thanks Dougie

Well its been an eventfull few days, went to refit front suspension and on giving it a checkover found the bags had been scrubbing on inner wings again, so a quick call to Ray @ Rayvernon Friday saw a new pair of bags land on my door first thing Saturday morning :rthumb: . So the struts were cleaned up and fitted with new bags then fired onto car Next favour was the alternator and starter, (cheers to Sas for picking them up frpom IPF when I had no time), so these were then fully refurbished by forth auto electrics for me.. got the alternator today and get starter tomorrow.   17. Well some progress at last, My mate went and picked up the mounts from the powdercoater so it was time to fit the clutch, gearbox and mounts and get it back in the car, some pics of progress hoping to have exhaust finished by Sunday.
  18. Cheers guys, will let you know how the clutch is, gonna be driving to ud so that should be it in nicely as its a 700 mile round trip.
  19. Car now back from paint and starting tor ebuild it, Have got a paddle clutch for it as sachs one refused to grip, Also collected the parts for my new exhaust which I am hoping to get done this week.
