  1. Back on all fours after refitting driveshafts and brakes, thought it would be rude not to put up a pic or 4. Need to do a notch for the steering arms as its resting on them just now but all else clearing well, sump now 15mm higher than lower arms so happy with that How much space with fans relocated?? Steering notch will see this 10mm gone hopefully

  3. Its silver high temp with a very light mist of laquer to make it easier to clean
  4. Well its back in, just waiting on inlet and rocker, but gives me plenty to do in meantime
  5. Engine mostly assembled, just waiting on a crankshaft seal then its going in, other rocker and inlet at powdercoating just now so will get them on Tuesday
  6. Cheers, scuttle panel is home brew and the short block was built using rods and pistons from us by a local firm up here, just under 3.0l now with an 8.5:1 compression ratio
  7. Cheers mate. Picked short engine up today so its on the stand and will be rebuilt tomorrow night

  9. all polished up smoothed scuttle cover Pedal box in place, just resivoirs to fit in the scuttle
  10. Productive day today although camera flat and forgot charger... Flatened and polished the full engine bay. Finished all the wiring ready for the dash to go back in. Fitted and plumbed up the pedal box, just need to sort a throttle cable out and thats finished too. Hopefully get engine back early in the week and have that back in by the weekend
  11. Test fit with jack under wheel, reckon another 10mm with engine weight to compress bags more Swapped botom arms side to side and flipped the arb drop link so no mods required to them as subframe bolt access hole is larger and recessed on underside, 10mm clearance at this height
  12. Fans fitted in front of radiator to give even more space in the bay
  13. Got a few of these to raise engine up a bit But being a vibratechnic mount it has a stud not a bolt, so mounted the puck under the mount and fitted a longer bottom bolt. Trial fit of front end for wiring lengths too
  14. Thanks mate, loads still to do though, interior and finish rebuilding the motor Last year won Player UD car of show, runner up car of show @ Dubshed and third place mk3 at E38, was really happy with that as I wasn't happy with the car but didn't want to miss them.

  16. Well bit of an update, been moding bay quite a bit over past couple of weeks but finally got in in high build primer today, chuffed to bits with it tbh.. To start with, though this would look good Then replicated in sheet metal Raised the turrets 25mm weld, fill, sand,fill,sand and finnaly how it stands today
  17. Cheers mate... Strip down started today as engine rebuild to be done and a few other bits :ninja: hoping for an end of Feb finish... but you just know that will never happen
  18. Yes mate, there is a remote adjuster so you can adjust bias
  19. They came in at about 450 for the full kit, I am hoping for about a 50 to 75% increase in braking force, plus I have a heavy right foot lol
  20. Just a quick update, car is mostly in bit just now getting wee makeover, Customs decided to finally let me have my bits, after shafting me for import tax :bang: Off to AGRA on monday :cool:
  21. New internals arrived so block and crank heading to Agra in Dundee after new year Floor mounted pedal box so I can get the bay smoother :ninja: Interior sold off now have new seats for it fitted up just need some trimming action now..
