  4. Cheers guys, everything on the car was done by myself start to finish apart from the exterior paint and the leather triming
  5. Well, where do we start, there was the engine bay update previously but I had kept the rest pretty quiet tbh. Exterior wise I have fitted a US spec rear to match the rest now along with B7(?) A4 handles Then interior is where most worked hapened, fitted a TT dash which has been modified with smoothed out switches and extended to meet the a pillars too, trimmed in red with black stitching Non aircon control was an option extra in one of the quicker TT's Door panels had to be modified for to allow doors to be closed Retrimmed in solid and perforated leather Seats, Standard rears aga
  6. lol possibly mate, must be looking forward to Dubshed next weekend then, thats if the trimmers hurry up with my dash lol, cheers for input folks, will no doubt add to this should it happen again
  7. Yes and no, since it started yesterday without flooding it has been fine, left it from 11am till 7 this morning and fired off the key, no problem, Which makes it near impossible to determine what was causing it...
  8. Looks good when its clean mate lol
  9. Thats what I thought, have you come accross this problem before?
  10. Searched last night and it is apparent that the yellow temp sensor is for the fans control unit and aux water pump, the brown temp sensor is for aircon, so it must be the blue. When I started it this morning, opened the throttle slightly before turning over and it fired and ran and has been doing so for 30 mins now without issue. If I turn it off it starts straight away.
  11. Dont have any spare inlets as its a one off, and injectors are also different being turbo'd. It was the blue sensor we changed as I was led to believe that was for the ecu, But if its the brown one I will swap out one from my daily and change that tomorrow. P,.S, engine in question
  12. Yes mate, replaced with another off a running car, to illiminated it. Dougie
  13. Forgot to say that once started the car can be turned off and restarts no problem its only when its left a while it floods
  14. Hi folks, having problems with my vr turbo, basically crank the car, fires for a split second then floods big style, as in plugs are dripping wet. Car sometimes starts if fuel fuse is pulled and replaced once it fires but that aint a fix. Have so far replaced coolant temp switch for genuine vag one, tried another maf and crank sensor even though I don't think these are the issue. Comes up clean on a diagnostic check with no faults. Any ideas as I am slowly loosing patience with it now...Cheers Dougie
  15. Cheers Guys but as above I didn't make ud due to an airlock in the coolant system that I couldn't resolve. Pretty gutted but will be at Dubshed next weekend and all will be revealed after that, which is much more than my thread reveals lol
  16. Finished plumbing of the heaters now, so a pic before wing goes back on, also pic from last nights foam wash antics..
  17. Cheers guys, not much to report apart from heaters all plumbed back in and dash refitted. Hopefully rest of powdercoating will be ready today so will have it up and running tonight
  18. Managed to get it sitting well thanks to a set of great plates (cheers Gethin!) and more than happy with the bay now
  19. Today started with a strut brace, and as the mk3 one I had doesn't fit with the turrets raised, another had to be made. Bought a random second hand one of ebay the right diameter ends and go from there. used a 30mm tube welded the ends up and welded the threaded nuts to the ends. Taking to powder coaters today, and hopefully ready in time. Brakes are all done now and interior getting back to normal ready for some seats
