  1. tell me about it when i fitted my coilovers it was a rite bitch to get all the anglew set up correctly took me fookin ages lol oh well thats the price to pay if you want it done correctly
  2. i all ways buy decent tyres for mine but i did find even though i put decent tyres on my 17's it still didnt feel as good as it did on the 15's so i put my smaller wheels back on and its much much better now
  3. mine did this wat i did was disconnect the battery put the keys in the ignition and turn it on, leave the door open jus incase it locks, then connect the battery , turn the ignition off then , prees the button on the fob and it all worked sound
  4. i use 10/40's fully synth diesel oil lol, i get it from work for free and its diesel oil so it keeps the internals clean so no carbon build up it jus goes black as fook when i come to change it but i have been running my vr6 on it for a year no with oil changes every 2-3k and my engine is oil tight no leaks at all and im on 115k

  6. omg not another thread about these electric super chargers, look at it this way if the y did work shy would every one bother paying £££££'s to have there vr6 supercharged when they could buy one of these ? simple THEY DONT WORK ! ! ! !

  11. i did the same i fitted em then counted the threads as i didnt have a tapemesure to hand lol, but the hardest bit is setting the camber angle asif you golf is low like mine then there is hardly any room to get in and adjust em,

  13. well i fitted my coilovers a few weeks ago and ever scince i have never thought they were fitted correctly, i have aligned all the angles up as in caster camber but it still didnt feel rite, and the front 2 top stut nuts (the ones under the bonnet) are only on 2-3 turns each, si i thought i must of got the large mushroom shaped bush on the top of the coliovers the wrong way round , i had it fat side to the top so yesterday i swapped it round and put it fat side down and i manged to get a good 5-6 threads past the top nut, but this is when the knocking has started so im stuck now, has any one

  19. iv had the very same problem, jus took it off cleaned it let it sort its head out then fired it up it didint idle very well at all at first so took it psi tunning got them set it up and now its like it all ways was lol
  20. you no when you took the side skirts off did you have your sill all bent out of shape as mine is from it been jacked up on there ? if so what did yo do to fix it

  22. i was thinking about this the other day as well, as the standard manifold is supposed not to flow as goof to cylinder 1 and 6, and as it goes across the top of the engine as it gets hot and the throttle body sits almost over the exhaust manifold so it would be cooler as well been short run, also the intake piping would be shorteer as well
