Anyone know where i can get R32 badges from for the side doors on a MK2?, do they exist?

Need help locating part numbers. Am putting a MK5 R32 engine into a MK2 which has a VR in at the moment. Have been told i need the MK4 fuel rail and engine bracket for power steering pump. Anyone know the parts numbers? Think the fuel rail is 022 133 317F or 022 133 317K - think its the same thing but different engine. Does it make a diff which one i use? Help most appreciated

Hi guys, bit of advise needed. Someone is selling a Mocal Oil cooler 13 row one but it originally was for his Corrado VR6. Would this fit onto the Golf VR6 which sits in a MK2? Dont want to waste m money buying it and then it dont fit.

Guys am looking at getting a R32 conversion done. I have spoke to storm and they recommend the Emarald ECU but when speaking to Vince at Stealth he recommends using the standard management system. Help, cant decide which way to go

I would but i spent a absolute fortune on my MK2 VR6 and i want to keep cost down this time and not go over the top. Simple and slick conversion. 4WD is just a little too much but i intend to do eveything else.

When you say adapter ring, how much does this cost and any ideas on whats exactly involved in doing this 4wd to 2wd. Its the custom driveshafts am worried about and the gearbox mounts?

I know it would be easier to use the vr6 gearbox/flywheel and clutch but i want the 6 speed box. I already have a MK2 VR6 which i will sell, i dont see the point in just dropping the engine in i would rather to the full converation as i will have a donor car.

Hi guys am thinking about doing the above conversion and will hopefully have a full donor R32 car (probably a MK4). Does anyone have any guides or advice. I know i can use the VR6 crossmember and VR6 mounts, the 6 speedbox needs to be made to a 2wd. What about wiring etc. Ideally am hoping to transfer everything over from the R32 including dash, clocks, a/c, abs etc. Thanks for any advice, tips in advance.

I got the fidanza one on mine mk2 VR which weighs in at 6lbs, it does make a nice difference but like GVK says you do get a little chatter from the cluth. Got it from the states when the $ rate was good from ebay.

I got a B&M put in mine and it made a world of difference. I drove a standard VR the other day and the throw of the gear was very long compared to mine

I keep getting O2 sensor no signal. All the time. I clear the fault and its fine for a week then it goes to intermittant and then back to no signal after a few weeks, it doesn't effect my fuel consumption or performance on the car. Any ideas? I have replaced the sensor with a new one from the dealers 3 times now and a new one is fine for a few months then goes to intermittant no signal and eventually no signal at all. I got a Fidanza one in mine wich weighs 6lbs, it does make a difference and the revs drop much quicker but going uphills its not as good, its really make a good diff on flat, even roads.
