The Corrado forum is diong a groupbuy on these now. be quick as most people have paid. Were jsut waiting on the exchage rate to go back before ordering though. Looking at around £265-£280 posted
  3. You'd be surprised mate, if as you say your not that mechanically minded I take it you'll have a garage fit the cams? Price up all the parts needed to do it properly, the labour charges and mapping, then compare it to a stage 1 charger kit, which is really easy to fit as it really does just bolt on Then compare the gains v's cash spent!!! When I realised I binned my N/A plans and sold the cams and that and bought a charger setup The only thing im concerned about is 250 Bhp going through the front tyres, very good in the dry at while at speed im guessing but is not poor from standstill or the
  4. After much scratching of my head i've decided to save my money and instead of supercharging I tought id go for fine tweaking. Im not that mechanically minded on engines and wanted to know what the best Cams were for using in my car? I use the car as a short daily drive but more so for a play thing in scaring myself silly, so which is the better cam to go for 262, 264 or 266 etc? What benfits are there to between them. Is a remap needed after fitting as well? Thanks for any answers in advance
  5. I'm more then likly gona to be there but not all day so if theres room I'll pop my car show cherry. Ryan
  6. I'll be a definate so can you put my name down please, its only up the road from men as well, sweet!.
  7. Typically i've already got the carriers and the calipers otherwise i'd be very tempted. Any ideas on the best discs?
  8. WARNING, MECHANICALLY STUPID PERSON QUESTION! Im in need of discs, but which is best for about £200? *-) Plus who makes a good disc? EBC? Black Dimond? or are they much the same. Ive got a late Mk3 so will Audi TT discs bolt straight on :^) (I know I need longer bolts and a metal plate for the carriers) Thanks for your help in advance. Ry
  9. Isnt that gear stick out of Flight of the Navigator?
  10. Just wondering whether to buy lowering springs? Would this work?
  11. I've fitted Koni shocks to my Mk3 VR6 front and rear using the Corrado kit, The rears are perfect but the front is still sitting up slightly too high. I've heard Bonrath do lowering top mounts but there only a rough 10mm drop, is there anything else out there that might drop it by 20mm? If not any ideas on how i can achieve this? Ta
  12. I had a Corrado 2lrt 16v, loved every second of it until i spooned it. Never had the intension of buying or looking at a Golf VR but just couldnt find any Corrado VR's about locally in half decent nick. Saw a Golf VR and took it for drive and that was it. Bought it there and then, it was just too good to turn down. I even take me mates down the pub fora few just so i can scare them on the way back. talk about the big grin factor
  13. They look gorge, there what ive been looking at for my Mk3. Toying with the idea of buying new but would you be selling yours with the tyres? have you any close ups of them? Strapped for cash at the mo but in a month or so's time would be very interested. Cant believe i spent the money on a holiday with the misses! Doh!
