  1. its easy to find out if the wires are on the rite way jus play music through them and if the cone moves out with the bass then its on rite but if it goes in its the wrong way round, as for fitting em if they are 6.5 inchers they should go straight in but you will struggle to fit the infinity grills unless you trim the sstandard clips on the doors down

    :-d ya dont buy a vr6 to get good mpg's thats wat diesels are for, i get on avaerage 20mpg 8o| i got a heavy right foot, mine isnt heavily modded jus an induction kit and exhaust
  4. they dont make those tsws any more i tyred buy some for mine and he said they had none in stock so i bought ssw mesh 2's they are very similar (as in my sig )
  5. bit off topic but same subject instead of fitting a 6 branch is it worth while proting the standard manifold to the gasket size as the gasket holes are slightly bigger than the manifolds, and is it worth re welding the down pipe on the out side of the flange and grinding the well off the inside ?

  8. rear arches are single skined as there are structual to the car ! they shouldnt have to cut your arches noty at all ! i had mine done in stok on trent and the guy came to my house ( mobile tyre fitter) warmed up the paint with a heat gun rolled the arches both rears and charged me £25 a side if i was you id try some where else first !

  11. will a carrado exhaust manifold fit one my odb2 golf vr6 engine im asking this as im going th port the manifold but i dont want to do it on mine so my plan was to do it on another one then fit it to mine then port the original manifold and sell it on so would it work ?
  12. yea you have to remove the box to do the lower guide thats why its common practice to replace the clutch as well, i got quoted £400 ish to do the chains guides and clutch from PSI in stoke
  13. yea i was going say check the slave is working properly but also when was the last time you changed the cuthc fluid ? colud be worth cheacking the level
  14. looks like the standard 16" bbs and looks lowered buy 40mm a good set up for handeling tbh

  17. sounds like a little motor running when you turn the engine off or at least thats wat mine sounded like till it broke

  19. tought it was only suppose work when the car is turned off , it pumps the coolant round when the engine is turned off stop the block cracking,
  20. how often does the aux water pump need to run ? when i first had my car it ran every time i turned it off, but it has stopped doin it now jus every now and agin it kicks in so is it tme to replace it ?
  21. i got one from the scrap yard i took it out of a 3dr then took it work and steam cleaned it came out as good as new and only cost me £15
  22. i would of kept the front mud flaps on i wish i had some on mine its a pain it the arse when ya spent all day polishing ya car then the first little puddle you go throughand wam shit all up the sills and door
